I also ran into my preK teacher she was also my second grade teacher and one of my favorites, Dr Sexton its her first year at that school. What a beautiful day! 🤗
Shoutout to Judge Montour for hosting another Native American heritage month celebration at the Buffalo courthouse its always nice coming out and seeing everyone. Nyaweh for having us!

After some calories burned i put the heels on & the fur coat and off to Sheas for date night with the Bae. What a beautiful show. If you haven’t seen it yet go see it!
This November, we come together to celebrate the rich tapestry of Native American cultures, traditions, and contributions that have shaped our nation's history.
In honor of Native American Heritage Month, we celebrate our friendship with the indigenous peoples of our region. Thank you for your inspiration and for reminding us us to give thanks everyday for the gifts the natural world provides us.

Happy October it was a beautiful day full of dancing at Old Fort Niagara we couldn’t have asked for nicer weather.

The Onöhsagwë:de' Cultural Center is providing a 3-part professional development series for artists.
Session 1 will be led by antler carver Hayden Haynes, (Seneca, Deer Clan).
Session 1 will focus on how to price your work, promote yourself, promote your work, photograph your work, present your work, expand your network, and more.
Session 2 & 3 will be led by multi-media artist Randee Spruce, (Seneca, Heron Clan).
Session 2 & 3 will touch on the same topics as session one but will focus on guiding artists on how to write an effective artist statement, and an artist bio.
Artists are encouraged to attend all 3 sessions. The program is free and open to the public.

We have not had smoke dance at our powwow for a number of years and this year we are excited to have a smoke dance special. There will be 3 sessions starting Friday evening. Calling all smoke dancers to join us at Grand River Champion of Champions Powwow July 21-23, 2023.
Just a little under a month away until registration is closed. Make sure to register and come have some fun testing your lacrosse skills while getting better. We will be having giveaways and informative presentations each day you won’t want to miss out

This year's Strawberry Moon Festival on June 17 continues our annual celebration of Indigenous cultures of the Niagara region through storytelling, music, dance, arts & crafts, and more. Guests will participate in an inclusive and engaging Native American community gathering. They’ll also be entertained by an eclectic lineup of Native artists performing throughout the lower park earlier in the day, and an evening concert in the Painted Parking Lot featuring Stephanie Big Eagle, Geneviève Salamone and DJ Shub in the evening.
Afternoon activities are free to attend and open to the public. Tickets for the evening concert are $20.00 and are on sale now at the Artpark Box Office and on ticketmaster.com.
