The King of American Sports is back tonight with the first game of the 2023-2024 NFL Season between the Detroit Lions and Kansas City Chiefs which means I’ll have a brand new Podcast out Saturday reviewing tonight’s game plus a run down of all of Sunday’s action along with a MNF preview of the Jets and Bills.

I’m taking the Lions to cover the 4.5 points tonight on the road against the Chiefs. No Chris Jones and a possibly hobbled Travis Kelce has me rolling with Detroit outright to win a shootout 37-33.

I can’t wait for overreaction Friday if KC loses tonight 🙃

This starts tonight and it’s also the debut of Messi on the pitch for Miami FC as they take on Cruz Azul in the first group stage game of 2023 Leagues Cup

A lot of players gonna have to start walking back some of that fake outrage about LIV. With this merger it’s blood money for everyone, the hypocrisy here is off the charts by the PGA but as a business move this makes all the sense in the world.

Rory still gonna cash checks that are somewhat funded by “blood money” or is it cool now because it’s only some blood money? I’d venture to say a lot of these guys who were shouting from the rooftop about other guys leaving for LIV are really gonna have no problem cashing the checks moving forward regardless where the money is derived from 😬
