Back home in Sweden again after another awesome tour thru Germany!
It was an intense week with seven shows in seven days in music venues, bars, record stores and rehearsal rooms and it was so cool to play so different locations every night and always with lots of cool people showing up making it some great nights to remember!
And just spending a week watching The Black Elephant Band play every night is a pleasure and a lesson in word wizzery on it's own!
Thanks to Snel, Till, Jonas, Buntmacher‘s Bar , Toxic-Toast , the Hof Rock City crew, Chris and Becks, kunstkeller o27 and most of all Jan for the great talks, long drives and terrible jokes!

I'm on my way to Germany, arriving in Hamburg tonight, one day before the tour kicks off, just to enjoy the Hamburg Saturday night life and get in the mood!🤘🍻
This is a different 'on our way to tour-selfie'. This time Martin is going on tour alone with his solo project, Vraket , but of course we'll drive him to the train station just to pretend we're all going on tour for a little while!
Tomorrow Martin will meet up with The Black Elephant Band and together they'll play shows in Germany every day for a week, make sure to stop by if you're in the area!

We were in our early 20's, only cared for music and to have a good time with our friends! Me and Jonas used to sit by the river and drink beers and talk about new ska-punk bands we've found before going to our friend Sofie's place and sit on her kitchen floor drink cheap whine and play Rancid songs on the guitar.
I remember so many smiles and laughters along with a few lessons learnt the hard way and those were some great nights but there was also this restless waiting for life to begin. Then all of a sudden it did and friends drifted a part.
Things will never be the same again. Just like it should as life goes on and we all grow and I'm very happy about where my life took me. I don't miss those old days but damn, I really miss those friends!🖤❤️

Linkin Park - The Messenger (cover by Vraket)
Today it's three years ago since Chester Bennington left us.
When Linkin Park came around I was busy being a narrow minded metal head and in that scene Linkin Park weren't "cool" and I missed the whole thing. All though I really liked the songs you would hear on the radio, like Crawling and Numb, it wasn't until a couple of years ago I really looked into to what they were all about.
Looking into those songs from my perspective in 2020 it gets obvious that Chester tried to help so many others with music but couldn't help himself.
He's work ethic and heart for music was also highly impressive, even from a punk rockers point of view!
I think since Chester left this world our society have become better at dealing with mental health but we still have a long way to go but we'll keep walking!
What I'll learn from this is to not be a narrow minded prick about music and to keep getting better at talking about mental health and I'll do so with Chesters voice as my soundtrack!
May he rest in peace.
