Topic: Remember Lot's Wife
Scripture: Lk. 17:32; Gen. 19:1-26
Intro.: This is a clear warning on how to avoid damination. Take heed.
Things to Remember her for:
1. She married a righteous man and knew about God but she didn't use the privilege. She had godly examples to follow.
2. She was fully informed of the coming danger but she didn't fully obeyed the warning. She had no excuse.
3. She given grace to escape death; she made efforts to be saved but couldn't sustained it to the end. She lost her opportunities.
4. She committed one sin for once (Gen.19:17) by looking back. What did she want anyway!
5. She was punished by GOD for disobedience and was not saved despite the good beginning. She came very close to salvation.
6. She perished alone because her family members didn't disobeyed with her. She chose her end - death.
Con.: Take Advantage of the grace you now have to be saved. Don't be another Lot's wife.
