Not only Pink October but also ADHD awareness month!

Rana the well known Trauma Therapist and University Lecturer a wife and a mom for two wonderful children is also diagnosed with ADHD.

Throughout this month we will collaborate Rana and I, and experiment together how we can improve the design of her home in a way that suits her and her family best!

We invite you to follow the process of the design through our stories for this October month!
Our aim is to raise awareness on how the physical space can play a major role in improving the daily life of a Family and how it should be tailored according to each family pattern and needs. And how this theory is applicable whenever we have ADHD.

You will discover tips, dos and don’ts so make sure to share these information with your loved ones to raise more and more awareness about this subject!

Let me tell you the story of this crib!
This crib was designed and customized for baby “Katherine” a sweet baby girl that I didn’t met yet but I already knew through her sweet parents…
And once I wanted to check on it in the production I fell in love with!!! And it gave me the idea of selling my own signature products…
It made the same effect on everyone who saw it (believe me seeing it live is a different story!)
The mixture between vintage and modern, rattan and wood, the lightness of the mirror and the toughness of the wood makes it so special and so unique!

I still remember the feeling of pride I felt when the teacher hanged this “gommette” (sticker) on my forehead!

Imagine the effect that a whole board could have on your child brain!

Reserve a PROUD BOARD in his bedroom and let him hang on it whatever he feels PROUD about!

This board can be metallic🧲, it can be foam 📌, or simply a small space on his wall 🪧

Making PLACE in your house for his achievements will definitely make place in his head and his heart for PRIDE and SELF ESTEEM! 💪🏻🤩👑

A child passes in average 80% of his time in his home. And this space affects his behavior which will affect his life pattern which will affect his whole being...
I have the pleasure to host this live with a trauma therapist and a university lecturer and .el.bizri an architect and AMI Montessori teacher assistant to talk about how does our home affect the child's brain...

A beautiful bedroom for a very dear client who is obviously a fan of football… ⚽️
Say it with me your kids bedroom should reflect your child preferences… 👍🏻
Not only it will make him happy but it also gives him the message that he is loved he is heard and his preferences and opinion are respected!🥰♥️

And this is how I try to communicate with my children through my motherhood journey…

And let me tell you that the Montessori method helped me a lot! It is true that I don’t follow it in all it details but the philosophy is there and I think that each family can adapt to it in different ways…

And the key for independence and responsibility is safety safety and safety weather an emotional safety or a physical space safety therefore be mindful while being a parent and while designing your kids’ bedroom …👨‍👩‍👦♥️
