A lovely big order to start the day! I love the beautiful mess my desk becomes at this time of year.

The Amethyst angels are sold out! This order also includes 2 Irish sea glass angels, which have been very popular this year.
Another opportunity to pack some little treasures and send them off into the world is bringing me happiness this morning.

I LOVE packing orders! Wrapping presents has always brought me joy, and this is a bit like that.
Add Michigan Cherry coffee from Delo's, the Christmas scent of this little space, a snoring dog, and holiday tunes from the 1930s and 1940s, and I'm completely content.

This is Killiney Strand Beach, south of Dublin, Ireland. My niece Madeline and I visited it nearly 5 years ago. I've used some of the sea glass we collected there to make angels. One of them sold in my Etsy shop today, and will be on the way to Washington state tomorrow.
Every time I create something with glass from my collection, I have so many beautiful memories of time spent on beaches with my friends and family :)

Portable angel making studio!..
My husband does puppet shows, and our rescue dog and I travel with him. We explore small towns and nearby parks while he is entertaining audiences. When we take a break, I sketch or work on angels.

It's angel-making time :)
In addition to the usual variety, I'm making a few truly uniqe pieces. Angels are probably my favorite pieces to create.

Found a few beautiful pieces (and some rocks and a lovely crinoid stem) yesterday. Some of these pieces will be tucked into wire angel ornaments and listed in my Etsy shop this fall :)

Do you have a favorite beach? This is the path that I most often travel to Lake Michigan, down to one of my favorite beaches.

Dreaming of travel....this beach in Nice gave us a lot of gorgeous sea glass! Where will you travel to when it's safe to adventure again?
