During a day of celebration at DC Pride, it’s more important than ever to remember those we have lost and those who have fought for us. On June 12, 2016, the Pulse Nightclub shooting took 49 members of our community and 53 were injured. We morn the loss of life and work towards a brighter future for the next generations to come.

As many of you know, CUAllies is not an officially recognized club here on Catholic University’s campus. Tonight, the senate will move to vote to support us in this continuing fight for our club to be officially recognized. We appreciate any and all support possible, and if you are comfortable and have the time, come to the senate meeting tonight to show support. We cannot thank all of you and all our predecessors who have helped us along the way and have allowed us to continue our work.

Please educate yourself before attending a talk from a Pro-life speaker. Pro-life encompasses more than just pro-birth, and to claim you are pro-life one cannot continuously make racist, homophobic, and transphobic comments. We stand together with and .sol . This is the time when being an ally matters, do not support the decisions this university has made on who they invite to exemplify Catholic values.
Welcome back! We know this semester is still not going to be normal for many people, but we will be resuming our meetings next week! Stay tuned for more information and DM us if you need to get on our email list! Good luck with the start of the new semester!!
