First round of wine club in the books. My goal for this wine club is to give you three essentials anyone ahould know when it comes to a region, theme or style. Think of it as my 30 second elevator pitch. For April, we took a tour through Spain with Albarino from Rias Baixas, a classic Rioja and a Grenache-based Montsant representing the New Spain. Long gone are the days where I could sleep like the dead in my 20's. As I settle into middle age, a good night's rest has become more elusive than ever. Really loving this book to get me motivated to make sleep my number priority. Apparently sleep is the cure for everything! 😴💤🛌

Romesco Pasta with creamy Straciatella! 🍝💫 I made a Romesco sauce by blending roasted red peppers, toasted almonds, onions and garlic and a splash of sherry vinegar, Paired it with tagliatelle and topped it off with a generous dollop of strciatella, Marcona almonds and chili flakes. ✨It’s corn! Candy sweet corn served as my muse for this new pasta special 🌽🍃 I made a sauce from freshly shucked corn, jalapeños, aromatics and cream. Tossed it with tagliatelle and more sautéed sweet corn, applewood smoked back and some breadcrumbs for crunch. Long live summer! 🌞⛱️
