We are in the middle of the autumn drop and the scenery is amazing mountains have a light dusting of snow now as well now sitting by the fire weighing all the gold 🤪 looks like a ripper day to morrow so we’ll check out some water falls and pan for some gem stones around Beechworth area.

Back for two weeks, but been keeping busy....

Photos from Bec & The Grave Digger's post 24/09/2022

Off to Portland yesterday, missing the sea! Grant caught more fish 🎣 in the first hour than the last 3 months! The weather wasn’t something that we are used to though! Great to see Harrison & Ash.

Photos from Bec & The Grave Digger's post 19/09/2022

So we have left WA and headed for home. Was a little wet, which we were not used to, so only took two nights to get home. We had traveled 17994 km and spent $6912.25 on petrol, spent $1602 on accommodation and free camped rest. The most we payed for an unpowered site was $65, most were around $50 per night, now to organize 3 months next year!

Cut across to Kalbarri to Geraldton, Mt Magnet to Sandstone, Leonora to Kalgoorlie. Saw lots of wildflowers along the way, Grant fossicked for gold, about the same result as his fishing 😱

Photos from Bec & The Grave Digger's post 09/09/2022

Left Coral Bay and headed to Quobba, went to the blow holes and camped near beach. Then headed to Denham, Shark Bay for two nights, had a look at Monkey Mia, headed off to Geraldton with lots of stops on the way. Feeling the cold now.

Headed from ExMouth to Coral Bay for two nights. WOW love Coral Bay, went on two tours, 4wd mbike & snorkel, and then dune buggies, was a bit of fun!

Made it to ExMouth, stayed 3 days at Ningaloo Cvan park in ExMouth, then stayed 3 nights at Yardies Homestead. Exmouth, Ningaloo wasn’t what I expected. Thought there would be costal towns.

Flowers are amazing, this is what we have been between Broome and Ex Mouth.

Traveled down south on the west coast of western Australia! 3 nights of free camping along the way. I encountered the midgie, although I have a different name for that mother….

Photos from Bec & The Grave Digger's post 24/08/2022

Made it to Broome!
Great place, very different to what I thought. Favs were Cable beach sunset, Wi***es Pearl farm tour, free camping on beach and Matos Brewery

Needed to catch up…. Keep scrolling if u r bored…. So drove the Gibb River Road…. Mixed feelings about this drive, two of the stations were closed, most of the rivers dry. Roadhouse with petrol closed at 3pm 😱….

Spent 7 nights in Kununarra at the Pretlove’s. Learnt how to grade a paw paw! Soo many things we did there. Went to Wyndham , look out, bird hide, Parry’s for lunch and then the Grotto. Mini bungle bungles walks, Kununarra Lake, fished the Ivanhoe crossing, went to Lake Argyle, went to food festival, listened to Grant fixing car 🤬. Went for walk with Missy to Emma’s Gorge waterhole 1.15hrs in, swim, back then lunch! Went out all day in boat on the Ord river, really beautiful part of Australia!

Photos from Bec & The Grave Digger's post 11/08/2022

Went to Dundee Beach, was a great spot if you took your boat. Did a jumping croc and Litchfield tour. Had Mary’s Laksa at Parap market, Darwin. And a must is the all you can eat, seafood and steak buffet at Seafood on Cullen overlooking the beach and sunset.

Across to Humpty Doo, tried their crocs burger, set up camp for 4 or soo nights at Coolilinga, which isn’t far from Darwin…. Today we went to Nightcliff market, Nightcliff Jetty, then followed the coast around, stopping at Dripstone cliff stair case, walked up to the life saving club, then off to Buffalo Creek for a look, then to anaconda and bcf and off to Mindil Beach sunset market.
