So goofy pictures from our camping trip. Owen is getting better at standing without holding onto anything and attempts to take a step but still not successful. However he did wear his shoes the majority of the time which is a win

Just a few recent pictures of 9 month old Owen. He is very mobile, loves being outside, is obsessed with driving a wheel of any kind, always wants to play on dads work laptop, and loves watching dad work on the four wheelers. We love this guy so much and we are obsessed with him. He brings so much joy in how he finds fascination in the world around him.

Just some recent pictures of Owen! He is in such a fun stage of life so active and mobile. It keeps us busy but we sure love it!

Photos from Seren Jardine's post 06/01/2023

Just a few recent pictures of Owen that I thought need to be documented. He is getting so big and loves to smile and giggle now! He is getting better at tummy time, can almost hold his own bottle, is so close to sitting independently, and has two teeth starting to come in!

Photos from Seren Jardine's post 26/12/2022

Owens first Christmas was filled with a lot of different outfits that were just so fun! The reality of Christmas with a three month old is he cried through all the pictures but he actually did super good the whole day. We went to a lot of places and saw a lot of people but he was a champ and slept through noice, smiled at all the family, and enjoyed playing with some of his new toys. Christmas was a little harder with a baby and he isn’t quite old enough to get excited about Christmas but it was still so much more magical! Owen was spoiled by his grandparents and we are so grateful. It will be a Christmas we will never forget.

Owen is 3 months old today!
He is so smiley and talkative now and has even let out a few little giggles. He loves to lay on his side and has rolled from his belly to back a few times. He isn’t quite sitting up independently but he has a little bit of balance when leaning against something. We love our little guy so much and enjoy every moment with him.

♡ 2 years of marriage ♡

It’s crazy to think of all the things we have accomplished in these last two years and all we have left to accomplish. I wouldn’t want to do life with anyone else! Kenny makes me laugh even when I’m sad or angry, he is constantly looking for ways to serve me, and he is starting to master the listen but don’t solve my problems pep talk. We have had our ups and downs this year but grateful still the same that we have each other.

With the new year coming up it has made me reflect on all that has happened this year! Kenneth and I have been so very lucky and we are extremely grateful and humbled at everything that has happened this year.

Yes we really are that couple that completely match on a vacation. But I wouldn’t have it any other way! ☺️

I can’t believe I have played D1 volleyball for four years already! It makes me sad that my time at UVU has come to an end. But we went out with a bang and I am so grateful I got to play with the most amazing team!

Here are just a few things we accomplished this year:

*We made history by being the first volleyball team at UVU to make it to the NCAA tournament

*Made history by winning the WAC tournament and becoming WAC champs

*I was named WAC defensive player of the week 2 times this season

*I broke the UVU school record with most career digs with 1,864 digs

*I was named MVP of the WAC tournament being the first libero in WAC history to be named MVP

*Not to mention so many of my amazing teammates getting WAC player of the week , WAC first team .nock + , WAC player of the year, All tournament team, and All-American AVCA honorable mention

I couldn’t have accomplished all that I have without all my supportive teammates, coaches, and family. Seriously you won’t meet a team as selfless, supportive, positive, and fun as the team I had this year!

I love everyone I have been able to play with in all my years of volleyball! Thanks for making me into the person I am today! Volleyball will always be apart of me and I will never forget the memories I have made.

Made UVU history by being the first ones to make it to win the WAC and make it to the NCAA. Couldn’t have done it with anyone else. This team is so amazing and hardworking. What a great senior year!!! Next stop —> Omaha Nebraska

It’s this handsome guys birthday today!!! He is the best thing that has ever happened to me. He is so thoughtful and is always finding ways to take care of me and make me feel special. I’m so grateful he was born 22 years ago and I can’t wait to spend future birthdays with you! #22

Can’t believe it has been a year since the best day of my life. Little did I know that I could fall more in love with you everyday. You have taught me so much this past year and I can’t wait to continue to grow with you!

Here are a few things we have learned in this first year of marriage
- marriage is hard but it is worth it
- Your love for eachother grows stronger with time
- Communication is key
- You can never tell eachother “I love you” enough times
- It’s okay to laugh and act like a child
- It’s not a competition between the two of you it is about helping each other grow together. You both bring different strengths and weaknesses to help eachother.
- Don’t take the little things for granted
- You will have difference of opinions but learn to see their side and work together to find a solution.

The video the Christ Child is one of my favorite videos of Christ. I think it has such a beautiful message of peace, light, and hope. It is so well done and as accurate as you can get.

My favorite part is when Christ is born and a new star appears in the sky. That star represents the birth of the savior it represents the light that he is. It also represents hope. For the Nephites who believed that the lord would come had only one more day before they were going to be slain yet the star did appear and hope entered there lives.

I also thought it was beautiful to see the shepherds and the kings that came to worship the savior to witness his birth. They came immediately and humbly bowing before him. The kings didn’t just send servants with the gifts they wanted to see with there own eyes. It was a three year journey for the kings before they saw Christ. That blows my mind and makes me wonder if I lived at Christ’s time if I would drop everything I’m doing and take the three year journey to see Him.

What a beautiful reminder this Christmas season is of the birth of our loving savior and the service filled life that he had. If you haven’t had a chance yet watch The Christ Child on YouTube. I know that you will feel the spirit and feel peace at the start of this Christmas season. Let’s make the rest of 2020 filled with peace, hope, and light.

To end the 7 days of gratitude I am grateful for all the opportunities I have been given.

〜I’m grateful that I have been able to finish up a bachelors degree in exercise science and have the opportunity to start nursing school at UVU in January.
〜I am grateful that Kenneth also has the opportunity to get a college education.
〜I am grateful for our financial situation we are in that Kenneth has the opportunity to work from home and I have the opportunity to finish off my senior year of volleyball.

This has been a hard time financially for a lot of people and I’m grateful we have been able to continue to build our future. This year has been unexpected for everyone but it has taught me to appreciate the little things in life that bring me joy.

I know I already did family but I feel like moms have to have a separate shout out.

Moms are incredible. They are someone who works tirelessly to take care of you, constantly worrying over you and wanting what’s best for you. They deal with the terrible twos, the hormonal teenage years, and the empty nester years. They love you unconditionally even when you may not express it back or even thank them enough. They may not always let you do everything you want but they do it out of love. Moms deserve an award and I to all the moms and the mother like figures in my life. Thank you to all my grandparents, aunts, cousins, neighbors, and friends that all show this unconditional love to me.

Special shout-out to my mom. She has taught me how to be strong admits life difficulties, she has taught me how to love unconditionally in the way she shows love to me, she has taught me how to be independent and strong willed. Through her example she has taught me how to care for others as Christ would. She has always gone above and beyond for me even with a divorce, working full time, and going to school. She is an example to me and I love her so much.

Also grateful for my mother in law and step mom and all they do for me. My mother in law is the best and adopted me right into the family without skipping a beat. She makes me really feel like I am apart of the family and shows me the same love and kindness she shows her kids. And thank you to my step mom for showing love unto me and my sisters. I truly am blessed in the mother department and the grandmother department.

Today I am grateful for my friends. They have shaped me into who I am today. There great influence throughout my life is something that I cherish. They have been with me through the good and the bad in different ways. And there are many more people who have influenced my life for the good that aren’t pictured. Thank you to all who have made my life full of joy and love.

I am forever grateful for the time I have had to play volleyball at UVU. These last four years have been filled with hard work, dedication, wins + loses, memories made, and friendships to last a lifetime. I’m grateful for what I have learned about myself and about working hard at your goals. I’m extremely grateful for my coaches that have helped me along the way and the enormous support I have gotten from friends and family. Can’t wait to finish off my senior season strong!

I don’t have the words to express how grateful I am for our Savior, Jesus Christ. I love this picture because it shows him comforting those that stand in need of comfort. I know that the savior has done that for me. He has been there for me when I have felt alone or overwhelm. Because of him I know that I can one day return to Gods presence even the imperfect self that I am. I am grateful for his selfless example of service that I try to emulate everyday.

When the prophet announced the challenge of using social media as a gratitude journal for the next 7 days the first thing I thought of was how grateful I am for my sweet husband Kenneth. This picture says it all. He cares for me and shows his love unto me everyday and I am so grateful that he chose me to spend all of eternity with. He can be a dork at times but he is my dork. I love you Kenneth!

Today I am grateful for Kenny and the support he gives me to help me learn and grow by encouraging me to try new things and get out of my comfort zone.

♡ As you can tell from the picture he has taught me how to laugh and goof around enjoying the small things in life

♡ He has taught me how to cook really good food and determine different ingredients from what we taste

♡ He has supported me as I continue to put countless hours into volleyball to improve my skill

♡ He has supported me in my academic achievements and my feast for continued schooling and knowledge

♡ He has always encouraged me to do what I love and follow my dreams

♡ He has supported me in this adventure of network marketing and doing something I’m very passionate about

I don’t know where I would be today without him in my life pushing me to do things I never thought I would. You truly realize the potential you have once you step out of your comfort zone and try something new.
