Her proprietor is Janifer Gatura who happens to be the head at Jawatha Agencies.

If they con you and you report them, Janifer Gatura will claim that she doesn't know Lucy Murigi, and that she is a broker.

Truth is they are either relatives or very close friends.

"Ninaishi k**a chokora hapa Saudia. Naomba msaada nirudi Kenya, k**a nikufa, nifie nyumbani. Sijakula siku mbili. Mateso ya Saudi yamenichosha," Emmanuel Mwangi Munyoki has appealed for help.

"I went to Saudi Arabia on July 19, 2022. When I got there, they gave me a job but they were not paying me as agreed. The boss once assaulted me over these arguments. I wanted to go to the embassy but my agency urged me not to do that. They promised to solve the matter.

"My first job was preparing shawarma. My contract was 9 hours a day but I ended up working for 15 hours. Sny complaints were not responded to. The company that brought us here took our passports. They transferred me to another job where I carry metals. I am now sick and bleeding. I told them that I was sick. I am unable to work, They told me that they are giving me an exit to Kenya but I have to buy the air ticket. I went to the embassy but they don't me to look for air ticket money.

"Kula ni shida. Tunalala tu kwa room. Agents hawachukui simu tena. Tuko Wakenya wawili. Tunaweza kusema sisi ni machokora hapa. Kule embassy, huyo bwana yuko hapo hasaidii watu Huku nje kuwa Wakenya wengi wanakaa k**a machokora. Hawasaidiki. Huko nje nako ukishikwa, ni shida. Niko na Mkenya mmoja hapa ana matatizo k**a yangu. Yuaitwa Abdalla Muhaji. Kampuni imetukodeshea nyumba lakini hawatusaidii. Shida ni hiyo hiyo," Emmanuel told TUKO.

Wanja Kimani is a Kenyan who went to Saudi Arabia for a job through an agency based in Nairobi, registered as Jawatha.

Wanja and her friends are now being held in a deportation facility called Karan in the capital city of Saudi. All their travel documents were confiscated and the agency is not answering them anymore. Wanja has made many pleas for help but has yet to receive it.

"When I was in Kenya, employment agents talked about all the positive things that could come from working in Saudi Arabia – the good life, quick cash, and a comfortable working environment.

They lied to me and others who went there looking for jobs. Working in this part of the world, especially as house help, proved to be the hardest thing I could have engaged in."
