Parents, here is a fun way to introduce letters and their sounds to your preschool age children. Our Eyeball It Letters and Numbers Project is a great way to get started. First, go through the letters of the alphabet with an introductory book, game, or song. Then practice making the sound of each letter with kids. For example, point to one letter, say the letter’s name, write the letter (explaining how you are doing so out loud), and sound out the letter. Ask children to think together about words that begin with that letter sound.
