Very sad to hear of Bilquis Edhi's death. As a professional nurse, she is one of the kindest souls who have spent her life with Abdul Satter Edhi helping others.
Last year, she was shortlisted as "Person of the Year" for her charitable and humanitarian work.

May she rest in peace, Ameen.

As the winters approach, the coolness that it carries increases day by day, we pack ourselves and go out Incase we don't catch cold whereas the poor don't have anywhere warm to go or anything with what they can pack their selves up. Winters are around and the breezy weather makes us all make a cup of tea or coffee which we can sip peacefully sitting in our homes in our blankets, or we roam around in our cool hoodies jerking the cool air, while we find winters cooler because we get to wear outfits that make us look like a gentleman, poor people find it hard for their survival, they don't get to sleep in warm blankets and warm beds but instead they sleep on cold floor all shivering, AWF considering this decided to do a donation drive of warm clothes for people who can't afford to buy warm clothes, if you can help in this you are most welcome, we appreciate you all for your efforts ✨

As we all know memon hospital buht zyada menhgaa hospital hai. Inkay shohar Mazdoori kartay hain aur saas gharon m kaam karti hai. 9 months inko injections lage hain jo k bht hi expensive hai. Abhi inka operation hoga Dsray Heart wall ki wajah se normal delivery nahi hosaktii, operation k lye inko 95k ki zaroorat hain, Ap logon se hamari team ki guzarish hain k jitna hosaken inki madad karen.

The 6th September Defence Day in Pakistan is indeed one of the best national days on the calendar. It commemorates one of the greatest historical days of Indo-Pak War of 1965 when India secretly crossed the international border thinking that their surprise attack would not be retaliated by Pakistan and they would easily invade the cities of Lahore, Sialkot, and Kasur. But Pakistan army retaliated so hard that Indian forces have to escape – leaving their tanks, armories, and hundreds of army men in the capture of Pak Army.

We celebrate the bravery of our fathers and ancient heroes, and honor their gift of protecting our freedom. Long may our flag wave. 𝗛𝗮𝗽𝗽𝘆 𝗗𝗲𝗳𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗗𝗮𝘆 Pakistan!

For a welfare like us, who is newly established or is in its infantry steps, it's hard to have donation from people as we are not the most trusted for Donation, but AWF Alhumdulillah managed to do it's first Donnation drive successfully, after overcoming many obstacles and stones. Finally, AWF helped a very few people of our country who are - Alas - not provided with basic needs.

Today, we witnessed how poverty kills people not physically but mentally, kids who should be going to schools & colleges were not even provided with food. We can't imagine what they'd be going through when they see the students of their age, going to schools & colleges. We also saw elders who should be resting in comfortable places but instead they were walking with bare foot & no clothes on them just to look for food or money, and today we were determined to help them.

The pictures you see there's a lot of hard work behind it. Our team worked day & night to make this happen. We specially want to mention Mr. Abdul Basit Arain with our other capable team members: Muhammad Shehryar, Humzah soomro, Muhammad Tehmas Taj and Abdul Wahab, who made this donation drive possible. And after the donation was done, all the hard work that the team did, paid off when they saw people smiling and giving their blessings to us.

It felt really nice to help all these people & see them smile. The satisfaction we are feeling today is incomparable. Let's help many more people in smiling, having food & clothes by donating.
