DID YOU HEAR? CEC 8 IS ON THE MOVE! PARENT VOICES ARE HAVING AN IMPACT! Parent voices defeated a major initiative by the Mayor and Chancellor.
Join us so we can talk about how we can continue to make our voices heard. UNFORTUNATELY, our Bronx reps on the PEP (Panel for Education Policy) -- the night that parent voices had a major victory in education policy -- actually voted with the Mayor, the Chancellor, and the Bronx Borough President against the wishes of the majority of Bronx parents.
Please join us as we discuss how to make the PEP, the Bronx reps on the PEP, the Mayor, the Chancellor, and the Borough President more accountable to parents, students and the wishes of parents and students.
Join us as we discuss our upcoming projects such as our Education Legislative Roundtable and our Education Candidate forums.
Join us as we plan to make sure that the interests of parents and students in underserved and under-resourced communities are represented in every conversation about education in NYC, NYS and the USA.
It is by no accident that the Bronx Borough President, the Bronx Education Consortium, and the School Construction Authority gathered on February 11, 2021 to discuss Reso A Funding for school buildings. That's the pressure that's the result of our voices.
JOIN US TO RAISE THOSE VOICES EVEN LOUDER!!! CAN’T WAIT TO SEE YOU THERE!

We marched and rallied to demand go 100% remote. Parents and teachers spoke loudly that the schools aren't safe or ready to deliver in-person learning. We are marching across the district on Tuesday to make even more noise!

Strong Schools for All A Message from the New York City Comptroller Dear Fellow Parents, There is no more critical operational task facing City government right now than reopening schools safely.
