Well kitten season is upon us…our first batch of 2024 momma gave birth to these 4 little beans yesterday 3/3…will add names to the babies once momma gets used to us handling the beans. Momma is so sweet

SAD TRAGIC POST WARNING! This is the nightmare every foster fears

On Wednesday we lost our beloved lil baby Davey to a freak accident. At 430am before work When Jason went in to feed mama and the littles in the morning baby Davey didn't come to greet him. Immediately Jason knew something was wrong. He found that sometime during the night while playing on the cat tree Davey shredded some of the carpet on the cat tree, got it wrapped around his neck, and couldn't get free. We don't know how long he'd been stuck but he was gone when Jay found him. We preformed CPR, mouth to mouth , chest compressions, sterum rubs you name it we did it for almost an hour. If I could have figured out a way to shock his heart, we would have done it. To say We are devastated doesn't begin to describe it. We need hugs. We miss him so so much. 😢 Our hearts are shattered. Thank you Karen Mitchell and Leora Henry for being there while we fell apart yesterday, you'll never know how much that meant to us. We love you sweet boy. Foster mommy's lil bear cub. I wish I can say rest well little one but I just can't accept that you're gone.

These babies are sweetness overload

Wow we are 9 days old today…just a dump of cuteness

So we have one that has opened her eyes!!!

Momma Rose decided she needed a break and took a snuggle break. She would look toward her littles every so often to make sure all good. Did the littles weights today. The lightest is 5.2 ounces and the heavy is tilting the scales at 5.8 ounces.

So this beautiful momma and her 4 little beans came to our room today. Once we can tell them apart will get out the names

Well the last of the Volcanos went back to the shelter for adoption yesterday to join their siblings Vesuvius and Helen. Fuji, Rainier (aka Rainie) and Krakatoa (aka Toa) we are so proud of you and how much you've grown and how brave you are. It was great to see Helen and Vesuvius playing in the kitten colony room. Helen even came up to the window when I tapped and said hello. Then she proceeded to follow me around the windows, jumped up on the cat tree and watched as I got in my car and drove away. It was bittersweet. Now it's their time to find their furever families and live their best, spoiled happy kitten/cat lives. ❤️🐶

Due to a glitch in the Matrix…three of our volcanic litter came back to us today…they are shy but playing. Even got two to eat off my lap…such sweethearts…

Progress with this little spicy babies! These lil volcanos 🌋 have come along way and will now eat out of our hands, off our laps, etc. 3 are still very hand shy when it comes to pets or being picked up, Rainier aka " Rainie" especially. But Helen and Vesuvius climb all over us! Fuji and Krakatoa aka "Toa" are coming around. We can pet and pick them all up when they are chowing down on wet food or we bribe them we treat tubes lol! Sorry haven't posted pix lately but with super spicy kiddos I've been focusing on sweetening them up

So baby steps…but 4 outta 5 let Heidi hold them…the one well as you can tell by the picture he wasn’t feeling any of the love..

Well these little guys are spending some time in the Cat Condo due to escaping the enclosure twice. They are pretty good at the hiding game…these guys are still SPICY….best Jim Carry in the Mask voice…but baby steps are being made. Actually one let us hold her this morning. Better pictures when they will let us handle them more

Well the spicey group will be going to a Panluke home and finish treatment and socialization….new to us is 5 very spicey black and tuxedo kittens so spicey we don’t have pictures…..yet. These guys are are very timid and scared on the spicey scale I would give them a jar of Dave’s insanity salsa mixed with a dash of scorpion pepper with a reaper chip on the side!!! Right now they are resting watching/listening to cartoons…. Tomorrow going to have to give one a bath, so if anyone has Kevlar gauntlet gloves and chain mail we could borrow that would be great!!
