Some people are baking perfectionists.
I used to try to be as well.

It's about to get real in here...
I know how hard it is to get healthy once you begin to eat poorly, crave sugars, and feel sluggish.
I go through that too.

🎢I know. It seems that I ride that rollercoaster too.
Since having my twins I've been working on getting healthier and losing the weight.
I was doing really well with our programs but after Fall 2019 things began to get in the way.
😔- Twin A was sick and in hospital last winter. Local restaurants and hospital cafeteria food wasn't very friendly to healthy eating.
😔- Broke my toe in the fall and I wasn't moving as much. The discouragement didnt help me want to eat well for myself (just being honest)
😔- Holiday eating and treats with noone to share it with (due to visiting restrictions)
I fell out of my healthy patterns. I added more than a few pounds back on (around 20) so decided to be a part of the Eat Well Live Well Shred program again.
I love that it creates habits and is colour coded to help me stay on track.
4 weeks is manageable plus I still have flexibility for special occasions but my commitment to MYSELF has led to basically stay on track.
What have I noticed?
▪︎A love for food that nourishes me. Its always packed with flavour!
▪︎Less head fog.
▪︎More mood stability.
▪︎Clothes fit better
▪︎ Healthier and happier
I have also noticed that I am not looking at the scale. In fact it stopped working a week before this most recent program.

It was hubby's birthday this week and he was out at work so we celebrated today with a yummy meal and cake.
Raspberry Swirl White Chocolate Cheesecake (from July cheesecake days)

My recipe for WICKED GOOD CHICKEN DIP that my teen requests at least once a month. (Actually once it is eaten he asks for more)
INGREDIENTS:
▪︎two large cooked chicken breasts (cubed or shredded)
▪︎8 oz cream cheese (softened)
▪︎1 cup sour cream
▪︎1 cup mayonnaise (or miracle whip)
▪︎3-4 tbsp ⭐ Do You Bake WICKED GOOD CHICKEN DIP ⭐
▪︎2 cups grated cheese (divided)
▪︎1 green pepper chopped
*optional - add other vegetables of choice
INSTRUCTIONS:
Preheat oven to 350F. Whip the cream cheese until smooth then add sour cream, mayo, and DYB WICKED GOOD CHICKEN DIP. Mix until smooth.
Add in chicken and mix. Thenadd in green pepper and 1 cup cheese, mix
Transfer into ovensafe dish, sprinkle top with remaining cheese
Cook around 20 min or until bubbly and cheese starts to brown
HOW TO SERVE:
▪︎serve with nachos, crackers, or bread bowl
Or
▪︎eat directly from bowl
Or
▪︎put inside grilled cheese sandwich or serve cold in a wrap... get creative!
Make life easier:
▪︎ use leftover chicken or turkey from a big meal or rotisserie.
▪︎ use precooked meat
▪︎ bagged cheese
▪︎ serve cold (does not need to be heated to enjoy)
