We are deeply saddened by the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, we at Buchan Braes Dental Clinic send our heartfelt condolences to her family.

To allow our staff to pay their respects and joining our country in national mourning our practice will be closed on Monday 19th of September for her funeral.

We are currently seeking a qualified Dental Nurse/Receptionist to join our busy private dental practice located in Boddam, Peterhead.
The applicant should be an excellent communicator who is friendly, enthusiastic, and keen to learn new things.

Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Preparing and maintaining dental instruments, equipment, and materials.
• Ensuring all areas within the practice are cleaned to a high standard.
• Maintaining strict confidentiality of patient information.
• Providing chair side assistance to the dentist when required.
• Carrying out infection control and decontamination procedures.
• Occasionally providing administrative support (i.e. - Booking appointments, taking payments, and dealing with various paperwork)
• Being flexible to work on a rota basis from Monday to Friday (although we are willing to consider candidates on a part-time job share basis)

Some of you may have already seen this evening Councillor Beagries premature announcement regarding the future direction of the practice.

All patients who this post relates to will be contacted in due course.

It is unfortunate that you are hearing this via social media and via a third party, with absolutely no relevant details. Certainly not the best medium for such an announcement.

We have worked closely with NHS Grampian during this transition stage and have followed all the necessary steps in accordance with their guidelines.

See below from Scottish and Southern Electricity Networks

I am writing to inform you of junction improvement works on the A90 road commencing on Monday 8th of November 2021. These improvement works are due to start on the A90 trunk road approximately 1.0 mile north of Stirling Village at the junction with the U66B at Newton of Sandford. The bellmouth of the A90 Junction is being widened on the Northbound approach to the U66 and the layby opposite the junction is being reconstructed to trunk road standard. In order to facilitate this a temporary 30mph speed restriction and a three way traffic light system will be in place for the duration of the works which are expected to be completed by 4:00pm on Friday, December 24, 2021.

Please find attached a map which shows 1 of 4 traffic managements layouts that may be in force during the course of the works.
