Team Teegan

This whole weekend a year ago was one of the worst, I had a few missed calls from Jessica and I knew something was wrong when I called back she was just screaming on the other end. I couldn’t make out much but the few words I heard that stuck out was TEEGAN, TUMOR, and CANCER. My heart shattered and I think we just sat on the phone and cried together I didn’t know what to say or think.
It’s been a hell of a year, so much Teegan has endured. All the chemo, the big surgery, her whole life changed in the blink of an eye.
Our community come together and gave her the biggest benefit and you all have supported her from the beginning. The wish lists, helping with daily living for them all, Christmas, YOU ALL WERE A BLESSING! Life has been HARD for them this year and there’s so much more to their story than you all know but throughout it all they remained strong especially Teegan.

What a year

As she faces more surgeries we pray more than anything no more bad news comes forward.

We pray 2024 she gets to ring the cancer free bell, we pray she’s healed and she want face any more pain or discomfort!

We can’t thank you all enough for sticking with them on this journey! Continue to pray so hard for Teegan!

We hope her story is inspiring to you all and her spirits show you all what true strength looks like.

They had a blast! They loved feeding all the animals! Nothing stops this girl!

Emma June crossed over to Heaven after fighting her battle with Osteosarcoma. This one hits home differently, Emma June won her battle! She’s cancer free!

We had some difficult conversations with Emma June’s doctors last week. It looks like we are in the next stages of hospice and there will only be a little while left with our sweet girl.
The doctors have encouraged her to think of things she wants to do. The first thing on her list is graduate high school. We are blessed to have such a caring, supportive school community.
We will celebrate Emma June’s high school graduation on Saturday at 3pm at Church at Viera. Emma June would like to celebrate with all those that have followed & supported her during these last difficult years. All are welcome!

Y’all be sure to go out to Bray’z Quesadillas & More & show your support to sweet little Asher! Read his story and go enjoy some of the best food around! The team at Brayz will welcome you with open arms! They are some amazing people there! 🫶🏻

We learned tonight that miss Christina went to be with our Lord just a few days ago. Our deepest thoughts and sympathies are with Christina’s family. Her fight want never go unnoticed. We are praying for you all!🎗️

Unfortunately miss Teegan was unable to make it tonight, the chemo she received this week knocked her little immune system out and she’s been fighting to not go back to the hospital sooner than her next scheduled chemo treatment! We hope you all understand! 😓

Fight girls fight! 🎗️💪🏻💕

Today Teegan received her new treatment plan.
They have started chemo today and after this week she will have 18 more weeks of chemo.
This news has been devastating to Teegans mom who is a one woman show. Mom is due with new baby in November so to better accommodate the situation she will have to have her C-Section in Greenville to be close to Teegan. At the moment I know moms emotions are all over the place, trying to figure out how everything will work. Having Teegan doing chemo, having new baby, and also big brother at home during all of this.
We know somehow God will guide a plan and things will workout the best way they can given the circumstances I just think today mom is having a weight of emotions over her!
Please keep Teegan and her family in your thoughts!
Please pray after this new set of chemo that Teegan is cancer free!

She DESERVES to ring that bell! 🔔

It’s been a little while Team Teegan fans!
Sorry for the lack of updates on our girl!

She is thriving and healing beautifully.
Her spirits with her new “little leg” as she calls it is amazing! She hasn’t let it stop her! It is truly inspirational what a child can indure and keep going about life without letting it stop them!

Teegan is one of the strongest and bravest girls with the biggest personality! She’s always been this way and cancer hasn’t changed her character in the slightest.

We can’t thank you all enough for helping Teegan and her family during her journey whether it was the messages and comments, cards, balloons, gift cards, helping with the benefit for her, buying off her Amazon wish list, buying Team Teegan T-Shirts, helping the family anyway, or just simply praying we can’t thank you all enough from the bottom of our hearts.

Teegans story and journey is not over as Monday she will be admitted back for her next rounds of chemo 🎗️

September is childhood cancer awareness month, pray so hard for Teegan on her next chapter of this mean cancer!

Saturday is the big car show 3rd Annual Cole's Victory Lap Memorial Show if you can make it go show your support! Proceeds for this event will go toward Teegan and family and they appreciate all the help they can get right now!

Childhood Cancer Awareness month! 💛

Meet Teegan!
She’s 6 from Belton, SC and and was diagnosed with osteosarcoma cancer May 30th, 2023!
She had 10 rounds of very harsh chemo to shrink the tumor in her leg, the chemo was 92% effective killing the cancer cells in the tumor although the tumor didn’t shrink much! She had surgery August 12th to have the tumor removed and they performed a type of amputation called rotationplasty.
Throughout teegans chemo treatment she smiled, played, and didn’t let it effect her daily life.
She lost her hair, she lost part of her leg but she didn’t lost her personality. She didn’t lose her sense of humor, she made the best out of her scary situation. She smiled and thrived through it all.
She’s a warrior!
Once Teegan is all healed from this surgery she will undergo routine chemo to kill the remaining cancer cells.

Continue to keep her and her family in your thoughts and prayers.
Teegans fight isn’t over but we pray that it’s getting close to being! Hopefully soon by the grace of God she is cancer free!

No matter what she faces we will stand behind her!
