The 100cc Air-Cooled class is big this year. Join us on September 11 at Pat's Acres.
More of this! - on September 11th at Pat's Acres.
Mark your calendars for O2s 9/11
What a fantastic race! Thank you to everyone who showed up for some hot racing action last Sunday! Super fun race format - we got great feedback - happy to hear everyone had a great time. The free pit passes and free practice after the races were a hit, as was the qualifying format with the groups combined by time. Thanks again to the drivers, the Pat's Acres crew, and our sponsors WORD Racing and Alpinestars. Be sure to join us for the next round at Pat's Acres on September 11th!
Weather forecast is looking perfect - Sunny warm weather, and the big heat wave doesn't hit until the next day. Remember too, this is a one day event - Sunday only. We will not have a Saturday practice, although you can register on site either Saturday evening or Sunday morning.
One day event helps to keep costs down for everyone, which was one of the goals of this series. With only 2-stroke classes we will get plenty of track time. One other note, we will have fuel available on site.
Looking forward to a great event - see you all there.

PARC!
A huge thanks to the crew at Pat's Acres Racing Complex. They are super supportive of the O2s series and we are looking forward to this Sunday's race.
A few notes...
Registration is on site - either Saturday evening or Sunday morning.
We are excited to announce that we are offering FREE pit passes this year! Important note: you still need to sign in and you will need to have a wrist band.
Please note, that if you show up on Saturday there is no practice (at least not guaranteed) since rental karts get priority on Saturday in order for us to enjoy our races on Sunday. That's part of the deal, so please show your appreciation to Pat's Acres for allowing us to race not just once, but twice this year (July 24, and September 11). We are super excited for this opportunity to enjoy everyone's favorite track, let's give them some positive feedback to show our thanks.
We could use another corner worker or two, so let us know if you have anyone in your entourage that wants to get some close up views of the action.
Gates will open around 7am on Sunday and O2s practice is from 8am to 9am. This is a 2-stroke kart only event, but we will also have rental kart races so everyone (parents, mechanics, etc) can join in the fun and get some laps in. The days schedule will be somewhat fluid - same as last year - "race ready" style. We are racing the short course.
Thank you for your support. The weather forecast is perfect and we are looking forward to a great event!
THE 7TH ANNUAL O2s CHAMPIONSHIP RACE SERIES is RETURNING TO EVERYONE'S FAVORITE VENUE - THE FAMOUS PAT'S ACRES RACING COMPLEX!
The exclusive O2s Pat's Acres rounds this year are July 24th, and September 11th. Join us for all 2-stroke action....and some rental kart races for the parents & mechanics to join in on the fun! Similar format to last year's super fun race!
Shifters race together, but are scored in separate groups - Stock (Honda, and ROK), and 'Open' (KZ, and Mods). We have also received requests to divide the Stock class into heavy & light - we plan to implement that at this race.

Super excited about the upcoming O2s race at Pat's Acres on July 24th. We already have teams confirmed from Oregon, Washington, and Idaho. Same format as last year - lots of track time, and lots of fun!
Notice the racing slicks...it was dry all day at the track for yesterday's races!
We had several people call and cancel last week because of the weather forecast. If you were one of them, you missed out on some great racing - on a dry track!
Special thanks to the PSGKA club in Spanaway. The hospitality was great and we had a super good time. We are expecting the usual large number of entries at our Pat's Acres races, but it would be cool to see the Portland area karters support the races we do in Washington. Gas prices are high, but we are working on some incentives (cash & product prizes, and some other cool stuff) for next year's Washington round to get more O2s 100's to show up. It's a fun track for the 100cc class, and we want to bring some big fields to thank the PSGKA club for their hospitality and help grow the sport. There was a decent field of TaG karts, that was fun to watch.
See you all on July 2nd at the Mac track and then on to our two big events at Pat's Acres. Some great 2-stroke racing coming up!

We are racing in Washington!
The O2s series has great support from many Washington drivers & teams. A few years ago, we ended up changing the name from Oregon 2-stroke to Open 2-stroke. We are happy to announce we are returning to Washington for the first time since the lockdowns occurred. Oregon drivers, join us for a great time on June 12th and show your support for our friends up North. We are expecting the usual Shifters and also a good size group of O2s 100's! Super fun race!
The usual O2s rules will apply. Shifters see the rule book on the o2schampionship.com website for tire rules. The 100 air-cooled class will be on LeCont Reds (4.5/7.1).
Shifters race together, but are scored in separate groups - Stock (Honda, and ROK), and 'Open' (KZ, and Mods). We have also received requests to divide the Stock class into heavy & light - we are looking into it and may implement that at this race.
See you in Spanaway!
Special thanks to PSGKA (psgka.com) for hosting this event.
