Gupit Series: Complimentary Haircuts for Everyone!

A big shoutout to Abra Street for the incredibly warm reception of our volunteers. As we witness the magic unfold through each haircut, we're reminded that sometimes a small gesture can create ripples of positivity that extend far beyond the mirror.

The Eco Warriors, a local environmental and social advocacy group, took the lead in distributing soup during the cold weather. The soup not only provided nourishment for the body but also nurtured a sense of community and shared responsibility. The legacy of their efforts reminds us that even in the coldest of times, the warmth of human connection can prevail.

On the 15th of August, a heartwarming scene unfolded as Eco Warriors stepped up as volunteers for the "Balik Eskwela: School Supplies Distribution." This event, more than a mere distribution of pens and notebooks, encapsulated the essence of compassion, unity, and the unwavering belief in the power of education. Prior to the commencement of the academic year, our Barangay Barretto Youth Council, under the leadership of SK Chairperson Hon. Jan Miko B. Corpuz and SK Kagawad Billy Joe Cañete, responsible for the Education committee, orchestrated this gathering.

In the heart of Barangay Barretto, a group of dedicated Eco Warriors joined the project of the Youth Council, led by our SK Chairperson Hon. Jan Miko B. Corpuz and the SK Council, along with the PopCom and Barretto Health Center Staff, for the Free Tuli 2.0 event. On the 14th of August, their commitment to both community well-being and environmental consciousness converged, painting a vivid portrait of collective action and positive change. The Eco Warriors took part in the Operation Tuli 2.0, which was held at the Plaza Uno Covered Court.
