Earth Mass- Tomorrow 2pm - Buckfastleigh - Moor Imagination Collective

Tomorrow we'll be hosting our next Earth Mass in South Devon.

If you're planning to come along and haven't registered, not to worry. Please just come on the day.

If you are planning to come we are also asking people to bring:
- Some warm clothes
- A candle for our community altar
- A cushion or back-jack
- An item of food for the food altar (we eat communally together from items brought.
- Items freely fallen or given from nature for the Altars (we will make our main One-Life Altar together during the mass as part of honouring earth, nature and ourselves as part of it).

Please also note. This event is for adults at the mo. We're working on ways to incorporate children in future events but owing to the nature of what we will be holding we feel for this one to hold it with adults.

What you can expect from coming along.

Earth Mass is the part of Church for Earth that aims to support regenerative culture to anchor at the heart of place, to create space for the harmonisation of groups together with nature and for webs of community resilience and resonance to deepen and form.

Earth Mass is a place for our hearts to be stirred, our love for earth awakened, our hope for the world and our trust in our own humanity rekindled.

We will come together in reverence of our planet, to remember that we are part of the earth, and to feel ourselves intimately connected with all living things.

We will meet at the Moor Imagination Collective space in Buckfastleigh. We will spend some time coming into connection together as circle , before heading out to nature to reconnect with land (10 mins walk - easy terrain) before returning back to the space. We will offer ways to connect deeper with ourselves, with each other and with our world through poetry, song, ritual, embodiment, connection games, prayer and more.

Each gathering will be structured as well as emergent and at the end of our time together we will enter a circle sharing space where you will welcomed to bring your contributions to our weaving, such as a poem, a song, a short story, a heart sharing.

Each Earth Mass is held by our core team here, is held by different constellations of that group to bring out the unique individual gifts that support the magic of the event to be organically weaved. This Earth Mass is being led by myself and Fran André, with support from the rest of the team including Rhiannon Leyland and Kerry Stevenson.

Church for Earth - England

What could a church become if it was created for the earth, as a community response to our ecological, human, and cultural crises?

Over the last years, we’ve been asking ourselves some questions, about how a church, created by different people, in different places, could become part of a viable response to the various challenges we face, as a country and as a global culture.

How would a church for earth support communities to come together in the face of crisis?

How would it help us to reconnect with ourselves as nature?

How would it build trust in our and each other’s humanity?

How could it support us to take action to support the biosphere we live in and as part of locally?

How could a church for earth, in the place that we live become a powerful channel for community action towards the care, conservation, restoration, rewilding, and sustaining of ecosystems and land?

How would a network of churches come together in one country or land, to stand united, for earth?

How would we listen and move together as part of a unified whole?

How would we share resource, songs, poems, imaginations?

How could we listen together to take action nationally, be that through coming together to prevent certain acts of ecocide, holding forms of scared activism outside of parliament, coming together to celebrate the magic of these lands and the life we have been given now?

Over the next weeks, there will be people gathering and weaving in several places in England to ask these questions, and to see how a church for earth, in England, might come together, including Plymouth, Totnes, North Devon, Exeter, Glastonbury, Bristol, Birmingham, Stroud, Hebden Bridge, and London.

I’m curious about where other places may emerge over the coming months.

This is the second part of a free two-part Webinar hosted by Humans on Fire that examines how the values of the global population are shifting due to the Corona pandemic. In particular it will suggest ways we can adapt and align to a post-Covid world and what it means to be in leadership in an emerging, sustainable future.

What Webinar Two will focus on?

Webinar Two brings together Clive Wilson, Senior Consultant with Primeast Ltd, Specialists in Purposeful Leadership, Phil Clothier and Tor Eneroth, who are Leaders in Cultural Transformation at the Barrett Values Centre together with Bibi Grazer, Human Evolution Lead for Humans on Fire to discuss and explore the findings of the Barratt Values Centre Global Values Assessment (GVA) that was launched to assess how Covid is shifting our values globally.

Using the findings we will glimpse and begin to understand what a post-Covid world might look like and how individuals, leaders and their organisations can adapt to the challenges we face in order to deliver a more sustainable future.

Dear Friends,

Over the past few months, and in response to the various planetary emergencies and crises that are unfolding I and a few epic humans have been cooking up a project that I want you to introduce to you.

WHAT IS HUMANS ON FIRE?
Humans on Fire is a community platform that bridges the gap between personal and planetary change in this time of global crisis.

WHAT IS OUR PURPOSE?
Our purpose is to 'Bring about a Golden Age of Humanity on Earth by Liberating Humanity from Patriarchy.' (We like to aim small).

WHAT ARE OUR MISSIONS?
With this as our core purpose, we will focus on two missions that we see as vital to help shift the way we relate with ourselves, each other and the planet.

Each of these missions comes from a single idea that we desire to create thought-momentum around.

MISSION ONE 🐳🌍🙏🏽

Context
The Journey of the human who is called to respond to this moment of planetary crisis is a unique path, one like few other has faced in the history of the planet.

It is a journey of revelation and utter uncertainty. A journey of utmost courage and of trust, that there is a very large light at the end of a very long tunnel, that they must walk through it regardless of the outcome or the cost.

Central Idea
The journey of those who are called to respond to planetary crisis is not one that can be taken alone. If we believe we are islands on this journey, the sea will swallow us whole.

Mission One Aim
To bring those who are called to step in at this time of planetary crisis fully alive to their role within it.

How?
By building and creating the community, learning pathways, inspiration, mentorship and experiences that allows these humans to fully embody 'their purpose on earth'.

MISSION TWO🌲🍁

Context
The one common language of patriarchy is division, from the earth, ourselves and each other. And there is no greater place this happens than between genders.

Now, more than ever, we hold onto trauma and stories about our own and other genders that keep us in a place of fear, shame and seperation.

We believe that in order for to come back into balance with the planet that it’s imperative to heal this division not in seperation but together, to come back to place of love and reverence for each other despite our differences.

Central Idea
Patriarchy is a system that holds all humans in slavery. While humanity remains at war across the gender divide, it will be improbable that we will come back into balance with the earth at this time.

Mission Two's aim
To reunify men and women with the shared mission of creating a New Earth.

How we will we do this?
By creating spaces, experience and opportunities for all humans to come together and collectively de-code and deconstruct our internal patriarchal conditioning and old ways of being.

WHERE WE ARE AT?
We're very much stepping into the fire of crisis, and will be rolling things our as we go. Keep a keen eye out for upcoming offerings! ♥️
