Experimented with white and grey to get some depth to a otherwise monotone character.

WIP looking for the right combination of colors for my Nighthaunt project, first test run.

Finished a good amount of projects, this was the last one from January so looking at my backlog to see what we are going to rock in February. Also prepping to start streaming again 😎👍

This was the starterbox set of Marvel United Avengers. Looking forward for more awesome minis to paint this year. Looking forward to back the new Kickstarter with Marvel Zombies game.

“I am Ironman!” And that’s it, with this wonderful mini I finished the Marvel United Avengers starter box. Tomorrow I will do a shoot of all the minis together. It was fun now going to cleanse the pallet with something else for a bit and after that it’s back to the X-men starter set.

We….are Venom!
I had difficulty with hours of black painting on Widow with layers and glazing, now did a far faster method of dry brushing. Happy with the end result.

Taskmaster, tried to use a minimal amount of shades and inkts. Love the orange and white combination so will use that in a later project.

I saved the best for last, only Venom and Ironman are left.

The age of Ultron! Good start this morning, checking this awesome mini of the list. Next up Taskmaster and then only 2 are left from the Marvel United Avenger corebox.
Day 20 -13

Black Widow, a lot of black and red. Did my best to blend stuff with black, took me hours of work with little result so that was a good learning experience 😎. Happy with the red hair and blue glows. Only 4 left in the Marvel United Avengers starter box. Next up Ultron and Taskmaster.

Day 19 -12

It’s Ant-Man, Scott Lang edition. Today I worked on him with minimal technique, really trying to get a smooth paintjob and learning to find the right paint consistency. It’s getting better but the long ahead is still long. This makes the half way point for the Marvel United Avengers starterbox, 5 minis to go.
Day 18 -11

WIP, 13 monks 1000 Pox, Cauldron of a 1000 Pox conversion. I accepted the challenge from to finish this diorama in 2022. I started this project back in the day when the Lustria book came out and the Cauldron of a 1000 Pox was introduced. Picked it up again in 2019 to enter a competition but COVID cancelled all of that jazz. Picking it back up again and going to do some rework on some parts with the knowledge I know have.

Avengers Assemble, it’s Captain America from the boardgame. That’s 4 down en 6 to go for all te miniatures in the starterset Used only for this one and experimented with the inktachtig a bit.

Sirris of the Sunless Realm is done 5of 21 minis down from the Dark Souls Phantoms Expansion. A bit more color to play around with so that was nice. I’m done with al the Dark Grey/Metallics/Browns for a bit so next up Marvel United miniatures!

day 17 -9.

Eygon of Carim is done 4 of 21 minis down from the Dark Souls Phantoms Expansion. Trying to keep with the Dark Souls artwork it’s a lot of greys and monotones. Still I got to experiment with some color work on the fabric and some shading with the metallics.

Horace the Hushed is done 3 of 21 minis down from the Dark Souls Phantoms Expansion, Sirris and Eygon are primed and ready to go.

Captain Marvel from the boardgame. Took me more time then I planned but I played around with paints and their inkt products. The gold is Learned a lot about paint consistency and the order of working with your layers, good day and good score, up to the next mini.

DIE DIE DIE FILTHY MANTHINGS!!!. Experimenting with weathering today, needs some more practice but happy with the first attempt. This old Warplock Engineer came in the starterbox vs the High Elves years ago. Back then I had made a attempt at this unit but the colours were realy blend and I terrorised this base with texture paint. Sadly I did not take a before picture. day 8 -4

Prepare to die! The Knight from Dark Souls the Boardgame. Experimenting with blood today, needs some more practice because this does not look as monster splash. I used the True Blood paint. Nice transparent blood gloss effect. day 6 -3

End of the year wrap up, brace for a couple of finished project over the next couple of days. These minis I painted for a D&D campaign. Ronin a Paladin that kept his identify a secret for the party. No stream tonight, still celebrating my birthday with my family, I got these wonderfull minis from my family and a Arkanaut Frigate from my boys. I had no time to fix the internet. Last Friday my internet died at the last hour so the give aways still need to be raffled. Tomorrow I will be painting again and I will do the raffles for the miniature and stroopwafels. See you all tomorrow and people can still enter for the give aways then, entry’s from the Friday Heroes will be counted as double.

We are back for some streaming, tonight we will be painting something new on this new workspace 2x bigger then the old one. What we are going to paint? Come watch at twitch tonight.

Starting tomorrow it’s E3 madness and we are going to stream a lot of the new trailers and presentations. Joined by co host Mavors and our lovely community we will fanboy from time to time but also bring a big can of salt and sour. Hope to see you there.

No stream yesterday no stream today, working on some side stuff in preparation for our E3 coverage that will start this week. Will be back streaming and painting Wednesday or Thursday and than it will be a couple of days in a row and extra streams with long hours 😁😎👍

Yesterday I started to paint the Red Skull, stil need to do shading and highlights and I wanted to start with NMM on this miniature.

Calling it done for now on the dragon. Lot of things learned about lighting and effects on the flames, but still a ton of stuff to practice when it comes to shades and highlights. I have 7 of these Dragons left (all different types) so enough practice material. Tonight we stream again around 20:15 CET, we will be painting something and play stream raiders.
