“Foxtrot” is for…
Life is about perspective. I think this week’s words from the Mr. Army Wife and Friends podcast represent that very well. As milspos we run the gamut of emotions. We can agree that sometimes we get frustrated with the way things are going, but out of those frustrations come creative solutions. As milspos we have seen the fertile nature of our lives, both literally and figuratively. There are lots of babies in the military community, but there are also lots of new ideas, new career paths, and new ways to do things that come from the fertile brains military spouses possess. Because of this, military spouses are fortunate to be part of a community that allows them to grow in these creative ways. Plus, have you ever hung out with a military spouse…they are just plain FUN!

“Delta” is for…
Dedicated? Yes! Dutiful? For Sure! Daring? Without a doubt! Deliberate? Absolutely! These are the “delta” words that describe military spouses to a tee. You won’t find a more dedicated spouse than the one that will watch your kids in a pinch, or bring you a meal if needed. You won’t find a more dutiful spouse than the one who will support a career like it is more important than his/her own. You won’t find a more daring spouse than the one who charges forward into the infinite unknowns of military life. And you won’t find a more deliberate spouse who does all of these with a plan that can change at a moments notice, but that they will be ready for.
What are your “delta” words to describe military spouses? Comment below and listen to the Mr. Army Wife and Friends podcast on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Google Podcasts or on your favorite podcast platform.
