We are looking for a few new artisan stalls to join our popular craft market in Alkrington , Middleton.

If anyone doesn’t know what we are about we hold a monthly craft market with around 35 stalls inside and out . We raise money for different local charities each month and hold an annual Lee Rigby fundraiser and Wizarding weekend. We have a very good footfall and are growing in popularity due to our commitment and dedication in providing a fun, friendly, family atmosphere for the community .

A massive thank you to everyone that came along and supported us today at our Lee Rigby fundraiser ♥️ We had a wonderful day and raised around £1,500 for the foundation . Lynn and Ian came along to support us and some of Lee’s family members . They were selling merchandise for the foundation. Thank you to all the stallholders that gave generously towards the Tombola and raffle . Your help is much appreciated . Thank you to Alkrington Community Centre for wavering our room rent and donating it towards the foundation . Thanks to all the companies including Tesco Extra Middleton who donated some amazing prizes for the raffle . A massive shout out to Jack who ran the cafe.He’s the engine of the craft market … according to him anyway 😂🤔 Thanks to Gill and Keith for always being on hand when we need support . Thank you to our customers that continuously support us each month . Our small business owners appreciate your custom so much . A massive shout out to Claire Lindsay for offering her assistance today. She did an amazing job on the Tombola and raffle. Claire attended the Cadets with Lee . We were honoured to be joined by the Mayor of Rochdale Councillor Shakil Ahmed and Councillor Rachel Massey today . They really took their time to walk around and speak with so many stallholders to find out about their small businesses and the charitable work we do here at our craft market . Lee as usual had everyone in stitches … including the Mayor 🫢 Can’t take him anywhere !! We hope everyone had an amazing day and we will now have a short rest before organising Our September event . Thanks to everyone for taking part once again.

Well that’s it, one more sleep to go until our fundraising event, to say we are shattered is an understatement. We have tried anything and everything to gain prizes…..
We hope all of Middleton will turn up as Lyn and the Lee Rigby Foundation would love to see us coming together as a community, plus, support their trust.
Our Mayor will also be with us 3-4…..

A quick note to stall holders joining us Sunday. We will be at the centre from 4-6pm Saturday evening should anyone wish to set up or drop items off.
Please note that we will be leaving promptly at 6pm. This will save you setting up early Sunday morning.
The centre is alarmed.

A huge thank you today goes out to James Kenyon who owns Kenyon Roofing. James put a new roof on our garage a while ago and he turned up earlier to buy £100 worth of raffle tickets…..PLUS, donated another £100 to our charity event this weekend.

Calling all manchesterunited fans, we have up for auction a signed Bruno Fernandes signed picture.
We will be taking bids on this (as this is for charity, please keep silly comments off the post) the highest bidder as of 4pm Sunday the 25th of August will be the lucky winner. All funds will be donated to our Lee Rigby Fundraising event.
Item can be sent by post which will be extra and we can not take any responsibility for the item getting lost or damaged.
