Is it a bird? Plane? Or just a bunch of butch models?
Read what our next 5 community models have to say:

Andrèa says “I’m a little bit country and a little bit hood. When I get on stage I want to put a spotlight on q***r POC especially First Nations. First nations prints and movements will be my own and my ancestors.”

Chris says “My clothes, my hair, my tattoos all reflect a masculine identity and a newfound sense of freedom from the very feminine identity I hid behind for the majority of my life. My look mirrors my true self and a much healthier value system.”

Nik says “I dress to express how I am feeling or how I identify in the moment. To represent non binary stone butch. Non binary can still be butch.”

Susan says “I spent a lot of my last decade looking into the community from the outside and missing the community I once had back home in South Africa and I want to stand proud with the other Butches”

Jen says “I'd like to help represent the butch community and show anyone out there that being different is not a bad thing. I feel like the butch community isn't as obvious as it may once have been and it needs to make a bigger comeback!”

Woop woop! Here's our next 5 community models!

Tee says “I am a diesel butch d**e that rides a Harley, loves leather and riding fast and hard. I am so proud to be called butch and be part of the q***r community.“

Jonnie says “BUTCH is visible diversity on one stage! We are different and dynamic but we are also a huge part of a rich and significant community. It's a place to celebrate our q***r elders whilst honouring significant progress with our young q***r and trans folk through proud identity and creative expression. I'm beyond proud to be part of what I can only imagine will be a visually, sexy, and dynamic representation of our community."

Conny says “I want to showcase my diversity. I am a proud 45yr Maori Le***an woman. I am a Q***r Person of Colour (QPOC). I am polyamorous. I am kinky. I am a shirtand and tie wearing Andro-Dyke. Androgyny is my sense of style. It is where I feel and present proudly both my masculine and feminine sides. It's where I feel both, and neither. It's when I feel most confident. It's where I feel most like ME."

Katie says “Events like this allow butch q***rs to see ourselves, our stories and aesthetics reflected in popular culture, not in the margins but front and centre. By putting butch style centre stage, we resist the traditionally gendered aesthetic and rigid stylistic codes that characterises the mainstream fashion industry and expand the possibilities for people of all genders. Celebrating butch identity is emancipatory in the most delicious way - how could I resist?”

Marcie says “My style is a mix of "distinguished le***an"and buttoned up academic. As a butch I love to explore a soft, gentle and reserved brand of masculinity.”
