I was just reminded: I'd most definitely love to get together and JAM with any of my friends and former students! I know several easy songs as well as more complex songs - and if I've heard the song enough, I can probably play it...(mostly)
Anyway, I'm going to be extra cautious around people for a while (as I am somewhat immuno-compromised), but I hope this coming late August/early Sep I might be inclined to have a few informal jam sessions with those who I haven't had the pleasure of playing music with! A couple of buddies have recently reached out (and Eliot Reiner - I must hear you jam the blues on your mouth harp SOON!) 😀
Please let me know if you're interested - we'll work out the wheres and whens!

Do you remember The Oberon (Napa - and does anyone know what business occupies that space now?!)? The Clean did a few shows there - it was a fun and interesting place to play! :)

It's Christmastime - Single by Article of Faith

Happy Thanksgiving! Today's also the day when it's cool in Jeff Blumer's household to start listening to Christmas songs. His band 'Article of Faith' just released one he wrote last year on iTunes globally - check it out! :D

(*It's also available through: Amazon MP3, Spotify, MySpace Music, eMusic, Rhapsody, iHeartRadio, Google Play, Deezer and Rdio - if you're not an iTunes fan or user!) Please download it & share the link with a friend, too!

**Also, last year's release was very limited, and the link provided didn't download well. We hope you enjoy the first 'Article of Faith' Christmas release that includes vocals! (Yep, that's Jeff Blumer singing lead, along with guest vocalist & good friend, Justin Miller!)

One of the few local shows The Clean did was at the Oberon! Who remembers the Oberon (where Downtown Joe's is now)?! Opened for a few great acts, and headlined once back in the early 80's!

A Clean song on the next AoF album? (Yep.) :D

"Slate" is a project that's been on a back-burner for a number of years. The Clean recorded several songs, many written by Jeff Blumer, but also a few from Mark LaVezzo, and one each from Gerry and George! It seems a shame to just let them continue to decay on tapes stored in old boxes in the garage... :D
