Archer has only been using sunscreen for less than a year. This means he has had a good 5 years of his life without us being able to get the stuff onto his skin. He has a HUGE aversion to creamy textures which means no creamy food like custards or cheese sauce. No shaving foam or slime and especially no moisturiser or sunscreen. At kindy I signed a form to say that he didn't have to wear sunscreen because the meltdown that ensued was next level.

I have tried brand after brand after brand. And then something wonderful happened.

We finally made the kids their own set of at home roller bottles. These are in a place that is easy for them to access at all times.

Ok so my 6 year old is Autistic and has sensory processing disorder. Part of this means he has ARFID eating disorder. It is incredibly hard to get him to eat foods that are different, not beige, not cooked certain ways and definitely not mixed together. He is on a gluten free, additive free, and low sugar diet (helps with his behaviour) which limits his choices again. We have been on the waiting list for an ndis funded psychologist to deal with this for ages.

"When I grow up" day at School.

Archer wants to be many things when he grows up, one of which is to write and produce his own movie. He has a keen interest in how movies are made, their score, the actors, the scripts. He taught himself to read at 3 years old by reading movie titles and credits. This career absolutely suits his Giftings.

Scarlet wants to be the postie. This has been her dream job for a while. She loves to write and deliver mail. She literally writes letters to us or her teachers every day. She also thinks a postie would be great because she can ride around on a motorbike all day. This career absolutely suits her personality!
