Welcome to our March newsletter.
There is lots of information in here about events planned for this month and leading into the summer to say nothing for the other articles which will hopefully be of use and interest. So please do take time to read this.
You will also note that there are some changes to our “normal” Sunday morning service pattern for March due to the timing of Mothering & Palm Sunday.

Tonight is the first Come And See lent course taking place at Wimpole Road Church at 7.30.
The course will take us up to Easter each Thursday, but it is not crucial to attend every session if you are unable to.

Many in Colchester are missing out on ‘warm homes grants’. Thanks to Wimpole Road Methodist Church, Colchester for hosting a drop-in event today supported by Citizens Advice and Colchester City Council to push these funds out to people.

Ash Wednesday Ashing services at St Stephen’s at 10:30 am & 7:30 pm
Lent Course “Come & See” weekly from Thursday 15 February at 7:30 pm hosted at Wimpole Road
Palm Sunday Walk of Witness from St Margaret's to Orchard Baptist Church
Good Friday Walk of Witness starting with a short time of reflection at 10:00 am at Wimpole Road and ending with refreshments at St Stephen’s
The last hours at the cross reflection at St Margaret's at 2 pm
Easter Vigil with Holy Communion at St Stephen’s at 6:30 pm
Easter Sunday Celebrations with Holy Communion at:
St Margaret's at 9:30 am,
St Stephen’s at 11:00 am &
Wimpole Road at 11;00 am
Evening Prayer at St Leonards – time to be confirmed

Great News! From our Carol Singing in December we were able to raise £357 to support the wonderful work done by Beacon House. Thank you to everybody who took part and came to sing & play and a huge thank you to all our friends and neighbours in New Town and the Odd One Out pub who gave so generously.
