The Wisdom of Ashes and Standing at The Gate

Well here it is my 64th Birthday. This year, I wrote what for me is a bunch of prose, and assembled my few poems into a chapbook. I made it through 5 months of one of the sh*ttiest teaching positions I have ever had and had 5 months of one of the best. I woke up every morning with the full knowledge that Gina loves me. As I look over all these lovely birthday wishes and all the ones from years past it is comforting to know that some others care for me as well. Lets get together soon. Thanks, I love you too.
