🎨Looking for a fun and easy DIY project to keep your kids entertained?

📌Try making your own homemade playdough with this simple recipe! All you need is flour, salt, cream of tartar, water, cooking oil and food coloring.

🔵🔴DIY Playdough Recipe🟡🟢

1 cup. All-purpose flour (Maida)
½ cup. Salt
1tbsp. Cooking oil
2tsp Cream of tartar
1 cup. Water
Food Colours

📌Procedure

1️⃣Mix all the ingredients except food colors in a big pan. The mixture is runny in the beginning.

2️⃣Cook on low to medium heat for few minutes until the mixture thickens and dough starts to form.

3️⃣Switch off the flame, and knead the dough thoroughly to get a smooth texture. Divide the dough in small balls.

4️⃣Add a few drops of each colour on individual dough ball, knead it for 5-7 minutes for uniform colour distribution (to avoid staining your hands, please use gloves).

5️⃣Store them in refrigerator in a ziploc bag or airtight container (I have been using it for the last 1 year!!)

🐥Get ready for Easter with this beautiful salt painting art project!

Follow these easy steps to create your own stunning piece of art:

📌Things Required: salt, liquid watercolors or food coloring, a paintbrush, a white crayon, and a black sheet of paper.

1️⃣Step 1: Use the white crayon or simple pencil to draw your design onto the black paper. Apply adhesive on the outlined egg pattern.

2️⃣Step 2: Sprinkle salt on the egg pattern where you had applied adhesive. Be generous with the salt, as it will help create the beautiful texture and patterns.
Allow it to dry for 4-5 hrs or overnight.

3️⃣Step 3: Remove the excess amount of salt by gentle tapping and now it is ready to be painted.

4️⃣Step 4: Paint your eggs with watercolors or liquid food colors, and use the paintbrush to apply onto your design. You can see the beautiful colors seeping into the salt due to its hygroscopic property. Allow the paint to dry completely, and reveal your beautiful and unique salt painting art piece!

🪁Kte Addition 🪁

🪁Created this hands-on addition game using recycled cardboard pieces!

🪁Aanshi had to add the numbers on each kite slot on the cardboard base and match the kite cutouts with corresponding numbers. We kept it very simple as she has just begun to grasp the concept of addition.

🪁 Many times, kids are reluctant to sit and learn in a traditional way. Learning maths can be so much fun using hands-on interactive games like these! This is an easy way to teach addition, and Aanshi did it happily ❤️.

Where do they grow?

🌽🍎We began our activities for the upcoming harvest festivals, through this super quick play set-up to learn about the fruits and vegetables harvesting!!

🎯You just need a sheet of paper, a sharpie and fruits and vegetables (real or miniatures)!

🍎Fruits like apples, bananas, oranges, and pears grow on trees. Some fruits also grow on vines and bushes (but we excluded them for now for easy understanding).

🥦🧄Vegetables can grow both above and below the ground.

🥔Vegetables that grow under the ground are onion, potato, beet, turnip, carrot, sweet potato, radish, turnip, and garlic.

🍆Vegetables that grow above the ground are broccoli, cabbage, eggplant (brinjal), tomato, corn, peppers, peas, and cauliflower.

🎯This hands-on visual activity helped Aanshi to grasp the concept of vegetables and fruits growth quickly and could easily relate!
