Photographers and Flamingos at Fort De Soto.
It's amazing to see these birds out in the wild, feeding and flying, rather than standing around in a zoo.
As Hurricane Idalia tore through the Big Bend of Florida, it brought in its wake flocks of Flamingos, which have been spotted across the Gulf Coast.

Early this morning, SpaceX launched Intelsat 40e. The mission launched on a Falcon 9 rocket our of SLC-40 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station.

Sun ‘n Fun is coming to a close today. It’s been a great show, with the Blue Angels and F35 Demo teams being a particular highlight.

Last night, Relativity launched Terran on the "Good Luck, Have Fun" mission. The 3d-printed vehicle made it through Max-Q and stage-separation, but the second stage did not ignite. Still, a massive success for the company, proving the viability on their first launch.

At 8:30pm, SpaceX launched a cargo Dragon capsule to the International Space Station for CRS-27. The launch featured a short boost-back burn – always a great display of color in the night sky.

Tonight SpaceX launched the OneWeb 16 mission. This launch, Falcon 9’s first stage performed its iconic boost-back burn, where the stage turns around during flight and reignites its engines to return to land back at Cape Canaveral. The resulting hot gases high in the atmosphere create a brilliant cascade of colors as the second stage continues on to deliver the payloads.
