THE IMPORTANCE OF THE BREAK-FAST
As its name says, breakfast means breaking the fast.
Did you know that skipping breakfast puts your body in a state of stress and releases hormones corresponding to this state such as adrenaline and cortisol which, if released constantly, create inflammation?
Did you know that skipping breakfast gives your brain a signal that there is a shortage of food and the food for the rest of the day is stored as fat instead of being burned as calories?
Did you know that skipping breakfast encourages your metabolism to want to conserve energy rather than use it?
For these and many other reasons it has been proven that intermittent fasting is a method that only works temporarily and in the long run, it creates a hormonal imbalance, especially for women.
How can we break with fasting in a healthy way?
We share with you these recommendations:
1. Try to eat breakfast in the first hour after waking up.
2. In Stage 2, include the 3 macronutrients that are established in your manual: protein, vegetables and fat and those that correspond to your carbohydrate days.
3. Always choose salty foods. This will determine your cravings for the rest of the day as sweetness will unbalance your glucose and you will have more cravings and appetite throughout the day.
4. The order in which you eat food is of utmost importance. Start with vegetables first, then protein and fat and finally your starchy carbohydrate or fruit.
5. Choose solid foods to satiate you properly, such as a cucumber, radish and heart of palm salad with lemon and sea salt as a starter, 2 eggs Mexican style and hashbrowns to finish instead of coffee or a protein shake. (Stage 2).
6. Consider smaller portions. It is better to eat smaller and more frequent meals to regulate our glucose levels rather than heavier and lower our energy.
7. Walk or exercise after breakfast. This will make you perform better, speed up your metabolism and stabilize your glucose.
8. Consume your food in a relaxed state, with awareness and without distractions so you get the real nutrition your body needs.

2 eggs
2 egg whites
1/4 cup Erythritol
2 tablespoons liquid coconut oil
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 teaspoon lemon zest
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 cup blueberries
PREPARATION:
1. Preheat oven to 180ΒΊ.
2. In a medium bowl, mix the flour, baking sofa and salt.
3. In the mixer, beat the eggs, egg whites, sugar, vanilla, lemon zest and lemon juice.
4. Gradually add the dry ingredients until completely incorporated.
5. Remove the bowl from the mixer and mix the blueberries by hand with a spatula.
6. Spoon the mixture into a silicone cupcake mold.
7. Bake for 25 minutes and that's it!
Did I rebound or did I not follow the Bio-Detox protocol?
We share with you the difference between what is rebound and what is regaining weight by not following the program as indicated.
Rebound is when you go on a diet, lose weight and then regain all the lost weight in a very short period of time. 2 1/2 cup almond flour
1/4 cup chopped walnuts
1/2 cup melted ghee
2 eggs
1/4 cup erythritol sweetener
1/2 teaspoon salt

METHOD OF PREPARATION:
In a bowl combine all dry ingredients except nuts, mix, add the ghee, eggs and vanilla, mix and add the nuts, form balls and put on a tray with silicone mat or wax paper, bake 8 minutes at 180 degrees.
