Highway 5 in Chanhassen was just renamed ‘Prince Rogers Nelson Memorial Highway’ after the late, great Minnesota icon.
So we had an idea - why not honor that legacy as we cruise down that sacred highway in a Little Red Corvette?
And hey…why not bring his sister along for the ride?

I’ve only known him for a few months (way too short), but he’s become an amazing co-worker, and more importantly, an amazing friend. He has an unbelievable opportunity ahead of him, and I can’t wait to cheer him on from Minnesota. Be sure to wish him luck. He’s gonna kill it in the Big Apple! 🍎
I'm excited to finally share that I have accepted a position as a morning meteorologist at Spectrum News NY1 in New York City. It's a rare opportunity to join the incredible team on "Mornings on 1." I'm thrilled to begin this new professional journey as I get to know the NY1 viewers and make New York City my home.
We will sincerely miss all the great friends and viewers we've gotten to know in Minnesota and Wisconsin. It has been a pleasure to be part of your mornings and to work with the top-notch team at KARE 11.

Had a good time this morning covering Beyonce’s first visit to the Twin Cities since 2018. Especially loved this interview, and her reasons why she’s a member of the Beyhive.

“Elle's mother was just very sweet, active parent. She went to all the activities at the school. Elle was always happy and well taken care of and a beautiful child."
One year later, there are still more questions than answers in Northfield over the disappearance of Elle Ragin. Police found the body of Elle's mom Lisa Wade on July 2, 2022, after an apparent su***de. Elle was nowhere to be found.
I got the chance to speak to her friend Sophie, and Sophie’s mom Pam about who Elle was, and how this tragedy has impacted the community. Police are still asking for help from the public to find her.

I was honored to co-host the The Power of People Leadership Institute (POPLI) fundraising gala today! POPLI is an organization that works hard in Minnesota to build a brighter future for our kids, and also gives adults the second chance many of them need. We raised a lot of money and had a lot of fun!

Been working on this one for a minute. I’ve heard a lot about that phrase since I moved here a few months ago, and wanted to explore it more. Whenever I ask people about it, the responses are all over the place.
Some people are true believers – and believe Minnesota nice embodies the kindness and friendliness of Minnesotans. Others believe that Minnesota Nice isn’t nice at all – and represents passive aggression and indirectness.
Honestly… it seems as if the truth may be somewhere in between.
