Now don’t get me wrong I appreciate my lines and wrinkles weren’t terrible but I started noticing them on photos and didn’t like them… not only that I felt like my eyebrows had become flat… basically I decided to do something for myself and had Botox for the first time and honestly could not be happier with the results!! I feel like me again 🥹

I’m not even wearing much makeup either now just mascara as I just think my skin looks lovely, smooth and healthy!

I can’t rate enough! Alice had made me really relaxed and kept in touch with me the whole time even weeks afterwards… and I’m a worrier so I really appreciate the contact I’ve had with her!

ITS MY BIRTHDAY!! 29 today! So here’s my art I did especially 😅

I drew this design last week just for the fun of it but now it’s super appropriate to myself!! Back pain is horrific 😣 one of the reasons I couldn’t continue T-shirt printing but at least I can still draw! All my designs are on my Etsy shop… this would be great for any greeting card shops.

It’s taken me a while to post this but I’ve decided to take a step back from my business… it’s been a hard decision to make but with current physical and mental health issues I’ve had and the way the current market and finances are going right now is just not the time for me. I’ve given my work the best I can do for 2 years but it’s becoming too financially draining to move forward.

However I love the community on here and I love the message my Instagram has so for now I will keep the name This mama can and use my page as a personal and fun account sharing my journey through motherhood.

Thank you to everyone who’s supported me over the years and hopefully my business will return when the time is right 😊

And why not… you need looking after just as much as everyone else. You deserve to get enjoyment out of life… just like everyone else. It’s easy to put yourself on the back burner sometimes but don’t leave yourself there too long. Be sure to prioritise yourself and your happiness too.

Honestly I would not give up motherhood for anything! But you wouldn’t think it If you heard me complain 🤦🏼‍♀️ it’s so easy to focus on the hard times and not rejoice about the good times! But it is hard and this is why social media can be positive for parents because you feel like you’re not alone… you feel safe to share the hard times and receive support rather than being guilt tripped. Nothing prepares you for motherhood and the goal posts change ALL the time meaning you can’t keep up with the latest phase your child is in…. So with no training and hard work yeah I think the least I’m allowed to do is have a little moan every now and again!

Let’s make the world a happier place. If everyone’s agenda everyday was just to try and make someone smile it would make a huge difference. Be kind, have fun, make someone’s day ☀️
