One of the main shifts we hope to see in the next 1…5…10…20 years…is how mamas are preparing for their postpartum experience and how their people are showing up for them.

We envision a world where friends and family inherently understand how to support a postpartum mama. Where mamas can make postpartum/baby registries asking for the support they need (meals, bodywork, pre/postnatal care providers, mental health, etc) WITHOUT JUDGEMENT. Why do we need to justify the fact that WE DESERVE NOURISHMENT AND SUPPORT. A healthy, happy mama = healthy, happy babies and family. WE KNOW THIS👁️

About 3 months before we were set to birth Mama Thyme into the world, in the thick of all the nitty gritty work it takes to open a new business, I (Rachel!) found out I was pregnant 🌚 Our newest little Mama Thyme muse will arrive sometime this September!🌾

📖My “story” is a long one. I’ve settled into this world of motherhood x nutrition x culinary creation by many different paths that ultimately converged together beautifully. A decade+ long journey with led me to nutrition therapy school and holistic health, two miscarriages began my initiation into motherhood, a pandemic delivered me to (without whom NONE OF THIS WOULD EXIST), a major surgery to have my colon removed allowed my body to finally be at peace and of course, the pregnancy and birth of my daughter, who was the final catalyst for me and Haley to create MAMA THYME🌙

This is not how I envisioned my life unfolding. In retrospect, I never did have a clear vision for how my life would/should look…The life I have now is far greater than anything my imagination could have ever come up with. Writing this 35 weeks pregnant, outside, in the sun and wind, I’m feeling extremely GRATEFUL🌞 For this sacred community, for trusting the path as it unfolded in front of me and for being able to put passion and purpose into a business that makes a true difference in mamas lives. {and to have an abundance of MT products for my second postpartum experience😏}

Mama Thyme almost didn’t happen soooo many times and despite all the odds (pregnancy, postpartum, pregnancy again😅, zero investors and a team of no more than 3.5 people..) she still made it earth side. It’s magic. Kind of like all us mamas out there growing, birthing and guiding new LIFE into this world everyday✨Women are fu***ng incredible. WE LOVE YOU💋💋💋THANK YOU.

BLUE MERMAID MAGIC BITES 🧜🏼‍♀️✨🫦

It felt appropriate that we scream because just LOOK at them 😍 is a kitchen mystic and has a gift for capturing in photographs what we try to convey through our products and purpose — JOY, PLEASURE, DEVOTION, RITUAL, LOVE and NOURISHMENT❤️‍🔥

we do a lot of measuring with our hearts around here😏but here’s the rough recipe and suggestions for additional ingredients or substitutions!🪄

- 1 cup almond flour (try oat flour!)
- 1/2 banana (maybe 6-8 dates!)
- 2-3 tablespoons almond butter (any nut butter!)
- 1 tablespoon Blue Moon Powder (on our site👁️)
- Maple syrup or honey to taste!

Roll, sprinkle with Mermaid Dust, Blue Moon powder and refrigerate❄️ (could also roll in regular or toasted coconut, chopped nuts, etc….but should not skip the Mermaid Dust because🤌🏼)

It's been a minute since we've hopped on & gotten deep so here we are.
