The Lemurs in the Redwoods! I grew up amongst California’s coastal redwoods and it always feels like home to visit a Redwood grove. This is the Founder’s grove near Miranda, Ca in Humboldt county.

Another icon and personal hero sadly bites the meat-suit dust. I once gave him a joint at a wedding where we were both attendees. I wanted to get into his pocket and go home with him and be his best friend but instead I collected his dolls which decorate my home. Thank you for the inspiration a genius comedian.

It’s nostalgia music week at my house. Along with Sinead, I can’t stop listening to Wham! Because the Wham! Documentary is SO GOOD and reignited my love for them! I had this cassette in 5th grade and I still know the choreography to the dance us 5th grade girls performed to Wham Rap, for the talent show. Against the backdrop of my parents secret job, which I unpack in Disorganized Crime: Smugglers Daughter, podcast. Treat yourself to some Wham! today.

She provided the moody soundtrack to much of my high school years. What a gem. Listening to her albums today reminded me how spectacular she was and I longed for the return of all of our youth… how lucky we were to enjoy her early albums and be inspired by her rebellious defiance of the norm.

While clearing my father-in-law’s estate, we found the most amazing mid-century modern dollhouse and furniture! Here’s the furniture which we’ve learned is Bodo Hennig, a German modern dollhouse designer who made the cutest nibs from the 50s-80s. Dollhouse pics coming eventually as we have to put it together. I was obsessed with my Victorian dollhouse as a kid and it’s so fun to play with this one!

What every hippie child fears! I haven’t even read this book but the cover captures my deep seeded childhood fears… even today I need a treat in the house for safety.

Update: YES Stanley Mouse is alive! Another friend of my moms from the old days (north beach 64), also named Stanley, passed over the rainbow bridge and my mom thought the Stanley that died was Mouse. So celebrate life while we are on earth!

I made a dress out of chip bags! We ate Lays classics for 2 years to get enough bags… reminds me of Wavy’s Meat Jacket he discusses in Ep 4 of American Prankster the podcast. What’s your fave chip?

The beloved Marin City Flea Market where the best treasures could be found for peanuts! I went every weekend with my mom and sister and started my lunchbox collection in 1980. Sadly, the flea market is no longer as developers built a disgusting strip mall on the land. It was a magic time and place that me and my creative partners hope to bring to TV soon… Crossies!

I have vivid memories of playing with my Weeble Treehouse with my parents good friend who I later discovered was one of the biggest international pot smugglers in the world. I really want a Weeble Treehouse again.
