Sorry I’ve been quiet recently! I’m working on 4 different freelance projects at the moment, and renovating a house alongside my concrete business anddd in a few weeks I’ll be back in a theatre directing a new production 🎉 It’s all a little crazy at the moment. Very grateful ❤️ but also quite stressed 🤪
But I stumbled across this picture today and wanted to share it. I love crisp white concrete with a beautiful green plant 🌱

It was my best friends birthday yesterday and I wanted to make her something special. So I’ve spent a few weeks exploring a new technique and created something to match the colours in her living room.

How it all started...
As lockdown hit everyone’s lives were thrown out of whack. In less than 24 hours I had all work contracts cancelled or postponed until further notice. Like many other people, work has always been a large part of my identity. As a theatre maker, I take great passion in ‘creating’ and ‘making’ and suddenly that was not possible.
As I settled into lockdown, I recognised a real craving for creativity and creation. So I started looking at other ways to create and ‘scratch that itch’. This is where my concrete planters started.
I’m spending every day in lockdown ‘making’ something and enjoying the chance to do so. And even more than that, people want my creations in their home?!? Who’d have thought! ☺️
Here’s to creativity 🥂 the ultimate food for the soul!
