This was a very special and unexpected encounter as just a few hours before we sighted her we had lunch at this spot and were all taking photos on the log she is sitting on she was probably in the area at that time observing us, just the thought of it sent a chill down my spine but thats the beauty of the mara you go out there in the wild you never know what to expect but you are almost always guaranteed a magical experience.
