I made so many friends along this trip I am going to miss them all when I leave. I am so happy that I got to fit in everything in only 7 days it is a miracle that it all lined up so perfectly. I am so grateful for my grandparents keeping me over fed and giving me a great vacation!! It is so hard to say goodbye. I am 50% ready for school and 50% not pumped for school. I have to make these last days worth while!

Day 6 today was my last full day here in Illinois 😢 but I made it a great day. We all got in the car and drove off to see some more sights of Illinois we stoped by a goat tower meant only for goats🐐. Then we drove into Amish country and picked up a lot of cool homemade foods by them. We then stoped by Yoders buffet and stuffed our faces full of Amish delicacies. And then headed back on the road to visit the very first burger king!! Then we headed back home and unloaded all the stuff we got and then drove to a friend's dairy farm where I got to mill cows for the first time by hand and machine!!! Also got to bottle feed some calf as well.

Today was a unforgettable journey I am so grateful for my grandparents for being a support to me and taking time out of there day to take me to a place I might never be able to go to again. I am really going to miss this place and Illinois this trip is ending fast.

I know that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is the one true living church here on the earth today. I am so luck to be born into this church for if I was not I would be lost for eternity. I am thankful for my dad pursuing the gospel and my parents being sealed in the temple for all eternity. I am so lucky to have been able to experience this once in a life time opportunity. I love my father in heaven and his son the savior who sacrificed his own self so that we may be able to repent and return back to our heavenly father. I know that the book of Mormon is our guide back to him and that we should be greatful for the translation that Joseph Smith put his life Into.

I would like to post more of my testimony but I am really tired so I say these things in the name of our savior Jesus Christ
Amen.

Then we got back on the road and treked onward to Nauvoo! We got there and first thing we saw was the beautiful temple high on top of the mountain with the Angel Moroni (ma-rown-eye) shinning standing at the top of the temple. We went down into old town Nauvoo and got to experience what the pioneers faced back the. We visited the Visitors Center and got tips on where to go. We went on carriage rides to get a little bit more of information about the history here. We road on some strong oxen, tried homemade cookies, bread, made a six string rope and ect. We got to see the many different shops that were there back in the late 18 hundreds as well. We visited the house that Brigham young had designed and built which was very cool. We drove over to where Joseph Smith Sr, Joseph Smith Jr, Hyrum Smith and others of the smith family were buried.

Day 5 and today was the best out of all others. I had been waiting for this day to come and I enjoyed every bit of this trip. We woke up at 4am so we could have enough time to do whatever we wanted for the day. It was raining like we were in Washington but the 80% humidity reminded me where I was😄. We took off at 5am for this 3 hour and 53 minute drive we all slept in the car while grandpa drove. 3 hours later we come to the decision that we wanted to see Carthage first. When we got there it had stoped raining but was still very wet, and we had just arrived in time to see them open the gates of the Carthage jail memorial. We took our time on this sacared ground and absorbed it all. We were then taken on a tour by a wonderful sister missionary, we got to take a look at the jail house were Joseph Smith Jr, Hyrum Smith, John Taylor, and Willard Richards were held in prison for treason. We sat in the very room where two great men were martyred. This was a solemn experience but also peaceful journey we witnessed the exact door where you can see the bullet holes that had pierced through and struck Hyrum Smith. I got to have a personal testimony growth for me and being there testified to me that Joseph Smith was the first true prophet on the earth in the later days. And because of that great man our church and the Lord's voice in no longer lost in this world of darkness. He pierced thought that darkness and spread the light of the Lord. I am so grateful to be here on this earth and to be here in this time I am thankful for my big and growing family and for supporting me.

And then we jumped into the pool and had a lot of fun and Asher fell off me while on my back still don't know if he did it on purpose or not 😅. And fell in love with one of there beautiful trucks that they are selling. If I didn't live so far away I would buy that in a heartbeat! And then got to take some pictures to remember them I had so much fun thank you to the Cardinals family for having us and dealing with a washintonion I had a blast! And to end the day I brought a little bit of Washington here because it started to rain then it started to pour! I am going to miss these guys so much!

Day 4 of this spectacular trip! Today I got to meet some more of my relatives here and did so much today! When we got there I got to meet my cousins Clair, Brock, and Asher, they were so cool! I am so glad I got to see them and bond with em today. We first went fishing and I caught the first fish but it was tiny compared to the fish Brock caught he caught a 6 in and 2 lb bass! Then we kicked up the 4 wheelers and had a blast at the creek and took some cool pics of a old run down cemetery surrounded by forest. Then we celebrated my aunt Marcella's birthday and had some homemade ice cream! Then we went to go look at all the crops and got lost in the corn feilds!
