I am suporting Samantha with her campaign for better speech and language awareness this month

Speech and language therapy is so important, I had it when I was younger and from my experience I know how tough it can be to be non verbal

Today made a start on sorting through and donating some of my clothes , As we live in a house of 4 girls we have WAYYY to many clothes
So I was so happy knowing that they are going to a good cause ❤️
I hope that the family who recieves them , loves them just as much as I did !

Today at work I was hosting a party - and as I was speaking to the mum who organised it she mentioned that a few of children in the party had autism , she then asked if their was anything I could do to help make the experience best as possible for them whilst keeping in mind that some things may be a trigger for them and make them overwhelmed

The mum seemed super worried and stressed that the children might potentially freak out by the Lighting and busy rooms .

However as some may know - I am on the spectrum myself and I was so happy to be able to help her and provide the right help when needed .
I bravely explained to the mum that I aswell, am on the spectrum and that I would be more than happy to help adjust the party to help. And immediately I saw the relief on the parents faces.
The rest of the party was amazing and ran super smoothly: I was able to dim the lights , turn of the music and disco lighting , and I ensured their was a quiet space for the children if they needed some time to breathe and calm down. The children loved it and at the end the little boy came up to me and thanked me for such an amazing party. And thanked me for helping him feel welcome

This was something so simple to a every day persons eye,
However altho it’s something i personally am quite embarrassed about , about myself , because I showed the little boy that it was a safe place and Because I adjusted everything to help him and his needs , it made his and his parents day.

This showed me how important it was to be open and that it isn’t something to be embarrassed about. And that it’s always a good idea to make people close by known ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Last weekend I was asked to do 4 circus themed workshops with York Minster District Scouts Beaver sleepover at Snowball Plantation Scout Campsite.

Nearly 60 beavers spent time doing circus themed crafts, and having fun. My job was to play hoop games and show them how to hula hoop on their bodies and their hands! There was definitely some future circus stars there and it certainly made me even more convinced community circus teaching is what I want to do as a career

I have blanked out the children’s faces for online privacy and safeguarding.

This years Natural Beauty International national finals are in September.

This is one of my favourite dresses in the world🥹…

It holds so many memories including my handover 🥺, my internationals in Belgium and my recent photoshoot with Pageant House Studios at the Mill
It’s so special to me x❤️

Whilst I was further up north I took the chance to flash my sash a little and visit The Dress Studio - home of Pageant Girl - UK Pageant Organisers. I tried on some beautiful dresses and got some great ideas ready for Belgium

Also this month I headed to Pageant House Studios at the Mill ran by official Natural Beauty Photographer Ryan.

We took a some amazing pictures for my portfolio and headshots for Internationals this year - Ryan even took some special birthday shots for me. Also I got to have a chat with last years North England Ms queen Kirsty and cuddle the beautiful teddie

On Tuesday I went along to And able. A local company who make accessible clothes for people having treatments. I helped them set up for their mastectomy bra fitting day, took so pics in their items and helped with some general jobs in their studio and supported my mum who was modelling their mastectomy range

On Thursday I travelled to see Ryan and Kirstie at Pageant House Studios at the Mill. I love having pictures taken by Ryan because he makes me really relaxed and lets me show my personality. I also got to snuggle our very own natural beauty baby Teddie!!

As many of you know I am proud to be Teen Natural Beauty North England and in July I will fly to Belgium to compete to win a international title🥹

I was very lucky and blessed by an amazing individual and sister queen who has sponsored my place into the international so I could compete. Without her I wouldnt even be able to be taking steps towards my dream title

However as many of you know the costs still climb - outfits, flights, mums costs as well as other bits and pieces

Last night i went to the island projects chrismas event...
The island have always been very supportive of me and have been there to help me so i decided it was only right to help them out aswell... i decorated and created the Santa's grotto sign my self with mums paint.
I wasnt to sure on going because events like this can be quite hard for me to cope with but it was fun ... when it got to much for me me and mum went to have some time to calm down and i pretended to be a dead person😂

It was fun and it was a little achivement for me to be able to tick of my being brave list :)

I did a raffle to raise money for giddos gift and managed to raise £50 !!! As my first raffle i was quite nervous so mum had to help get me organised but i am very happy with my outcome !
I raffled a massive pink rabbit decoration with extendable legs (which i was very reluctant to include) , a chocolate selection box and a special hidden extra🥰
Thank you to everyone who helped my sucessfully raise my over my goal!!

I have been keeping a secret... as everyone knows I love the Natural Beauty International system and its directors. Last year I was honoured to be Teen Natural Beauty England but felt there was more of me to show the judges at Internationals in Belgium so I am excited to announce that i will be trying again in July 2023

I was honoured today to represent my title and help Asda with their tickled pink campaign at my local store. I helped with the raffle, encouraged people to donate and manned the stall. I also pinched my
Mums coppafeel jacket to remind people to get into the habit of checking.
