Always Trust a Twist of Fate
Welcome to Twist of Fate Crafts!
As a full-time graphic designer who also does freelance graphic design work, I find myself staring at the computer way too often. I want to stay in the creative realm but move towards using my hands and other materials.
A couple of years ago, my aunt started gathering and collecting pine cones she found in her yard. She began the process of collecting all different sizes and cleaning them. After finding some beautiful holiday wreaths on Pinterest, she encouraged us to follow suit. We began playing around with the pine cones, adding in fun holiday bows and other flair.
I soon realized I could bring my attention to detail into wreath making as well as begin to use my hands. And really experiment and learn about various materials and how they fit and puzzle together.
