The outreach was a sensitisation campaign to enlighten the inmates on the dangers of drug abuse.
The lecture was given by the Area Commander Nsukka Area command in person of ASUQUO NKEREUWEM-ACN on the title "DRUG ABUSE/CONSEQUENCES".
People in attendance incude the following:
1. The Assistant Controller of the Correctional center,
2. Staffs
3. inmate numbering 294,
4. members of the NDLEA/NYSC Drug Free club.
Some of the inmates were given the opportunity to share from their past experiences and in the end both inmates and staff members testified to have benefited from the outreach.
The Assistant controller of the Correctional Center requested that more of such meetings would be beneficial and greatly appreciated.
