Stand up for what you believe in…but don’t come on too strong as not to offend anyone.
Speak honestly…but be careful not to hurt anyone’s feelings.
Speak up…but not too loudly….

Tonight was a great night raising money for the Natasha Watley Foundation and growing the game of softball!🥎

Olivia Trombley has been selected to participate in The Alliance Fastpitch Homerun Derby ahead of the All Star Game tonight! This young lady has the ‘it’ factor and is starting to see her hard work pay off.

I can’t wait to see you tear the cover off of the ball Liv!! I’m so proud of you!

Most of you know, I’m the Founder of the Colorado Softball Academy Club Organization. I’m looking for 2 solid shut down pitchers for our 16 Gold Team. Our pitchers will train and develop under former Cal State Fullerton Pitcher, Coach Sophie Frost‼️

This team is coached by Riley Plogger (former outfielder for Utah State, and UNC) and will compete on a National level. Athletes must have a goal of playing college softball, be willing to be pushed, and want to train with former college softball players.

You don’t have to live locally to compete with this team. If you want a shot at this team, send me a DM!

The Colorado Rockies Youth Softball Camp at Coors Field with USA Softball is back and set for July 31 and August 1!

Our camp is designed for softball players of all skill levels age 8 – 14 years old. This unique experience of playing on Coors Field only happens once a year so don’t miss your chance to join in on the fun! Cost is $400 per camper. All Proceeds benefit the Colorado Rockies Foundation. The Rockies Foundation gives back to local youth baseball and softball organizations to help grow the game.

What’s included: Campers will receive a customized 2023 Nike Camp jersey, Rockies visor, individual camp photo experience, (4) tickets to the Colorado Rockies vs. San Diego Padres game Aug. 1, on-field pregame parade, a chance to meet Colorado Rockies superstars, and get the experience of a lifetime playing like a BIG LEAGUER on Coors Field!

Well this one hits the feelers… Meredith was the first student/ lesson I gave after returning from my coaching hiatus in 2019. We trained in my yard and garage, as I was only taking a few kiddos 🤦🏻‍♀️🤣🥴.

I remember that lesson so vividly, as she was so nervous for high school orientation the next day. This week was her last lesson before heading of to continue her incredible education at the University of Iowa!

Mere - to say I’m proud of you is such an understatement. We’ve worked through hard moments, butted heads at times, and celebrated your amazing accomplishments over the past 4 years. You’re one of my own and I’m in your corner for life young lady. Thanks for being an OG!! Go Hawkeyes!

It’s quiet right now. Sleepy girls with toddler hair and parents weighed down like mules are rolling in. Temporary homes for families related by team color will soon be everywhere. Music will fill the space along with laughter and cheers. There will be winners and losers, first home runs, first stolen base, first time playing a new position. Dancing in the dugout and loud parents hiding their faces as they nervously watch their girl do her thing. Friendships. Frustrations happiness. Sadness. High points and low points. Lots of lessons, and lots of memories will be made today.

Like breath to the lungs, people are to the ball field. Filling it with lofe, giving it a pulse and a heartbeat all it’s own. Until the last person leaves, as the lights flicker off, this will be the place to be today. Relax. Enjoy. Breathe it all in. Notice the little things. And above all feel blessed to get to watch them play.

The Female Athlete Network (The F.A.N.) provides grants to non-profit organizations in Northern Colorado that promote the participation of females in sporting activities. Over the past 13 years, the F.A.N. has awarded 116 grants to local organizations.
