Momma cat may be just around the corner looking for food and checking the perimeter for predators.

Cats have a need to scratch and this is normal instinctive behavior. They scratch to sharpen their nails, to give themselves a better stretch, mark their territory, or even to express different emotions.

Cat's love to scratch tall, sturdy objects that allow them a good grip. As long as you provide them with something more desirable than your leather sofa, you won't have a problem with your feline friend destroying precious objects around the house. 😍

Animal homelessness is a complex issue, but it requires a simple solution: adopt animals from shelters or the streets instead of buying them from breeders or pet shops.

You can also prevent unwanted animals from being born by always having your companion animals spayed or neutered.

Cats are extremely skilled hunters. Ever since they started living around households thousands of years ago, cats have been hardwired for a good old chase.

Domesticated cats unlike their relatives in the wild, rarely hunt for food. They are more likely to hunt for fun or to bring trophies back to their owners.

Cats are very clean animals that spend a big chunk of their day grooming themselves. They don't like getting wet probably of the effect water has on their fur.

Wet fur creates a lot of discomfort for a cat and often takes a long time to dry.

Wet fur is much heavier and more voluminous than dry fur and thus makes a cat less agile and more vulnerable.😍
