When Sondre Lerche realized the record label chose to promote "I Just Can't Stop Loving You" as the lead single from Michael Jackson's "BAD" - he never quite recovered. I placed my phone backstage so that you could hear the recurring conversation that happened throughout our American Tour last year.

Usually, he was angry and full of contemptuous turmoil. On this particular occasion, I think he was just straight up disappointed.

Why was M.J.’s “Bad” not the lead single? I can’t tell you how many minutes we had to support Sondre Lerche while he fell down this rabbit hole several times throughout the 2022 American Tour. One ...

Guess who turned 40 today!!!

Sondre is truly one in 8 billion and I couldn’t be happier to be his friend and collaborator. He sparks joy in everything he does (so you know Marie Kondo would NEVER throw his ass away) and all of us who know him have had a better life simply because he’s in it.

I’ve watched him sail out of his 20’s, thrive throughout his 30’s, and now I’m excited for this journey across a brand new decade.
