Recently I have been concentrating on producing video demos and reviews of various guitar pedals. In the latest series I am doing a shootout between three looping pedals; one I have owned for years, and two others whose feature set (and price) have peaked my interest.

Recently my spare time has turned to focus on the growth of my daughter and her talent. Serena picked up playing bass guitar. With her Cello background she is already flourishing. We spend nearly an hour every night working on rudiments and the songs of interest.

The most recent hurdle in getting the next episodes ready is . On the weekends my autistic son is quite vocal about me being locked away in the studio area. So nights after everyone else is asleep and I am still awake enough it is.

One of my biggest in producing the came when I upgraded my . My of choice became incompatible, forcing me to move to an audio editor less familiar to me.
Thankfully was able to release an updated edition and things are figuratively and literally.
December 2021 Update
I’ve been “off the grid” for the last 3 months getting used to life with a 9 to 5 workplace. It’s a bit different from my past 3 years on the road, but being able to come home, every night, to my family is priceless.

New day. I really liked Performer Lite that came with my MOTU interface. There is no immediate ETA for it to be Big Sur ready, and I’m not in a place where I want to shell out $500 for its big brother, Digital Performer 11.
