In recent years,I have had to push myself out of my comfort zone. Not because I wanted to but because I had no choice.

I used to be an extremely shy person and public speaking was something I dreaded, but I believe God had a different plan. He said my first job out of grad school would involve public speaking. This didn’t make sense to me but I just had to go with the flow of things.
—
Fast forward to a few years later, I can’t believe how far I have come. The growth I have experienced in recent times makes me know that with God on your side anything is possible. This was a girl that literally could not look up when walking into large gatherings and could not make eye contact with people she wasn’t familiar with. I am amazed at how from being a shy person, I am now able to speak to a large group of people on a regular basis based on the requirements of my 9-5 job.

Friends, let me tell you, that thing you felt was impossible is POSSIBLE!
—
I am not where I want to be, but I am a long way from where I used to be. I am still learning and growing everyday.
—
Trust me it is easier said than done, but the lesson I have learned is that when you trust the uncomfortable process you find yourself in, the end result will be worth it.
