18-Year-Old Claims Chieftaincy Following Father's Passing in Lakes State

An 18-year-old man named Aruopiny Majok Aruopiny has ascended to the position of chief of the Kuek community in Anuol Payam of Yirol West County, Lakes State.

His appointment comes after the passing of his father, who held the position of chief before him. According to local culture, Aruopiny was appointed to inherit his father's position during the 40-day funeral ceremony.

This makes Aruopiny the youngest chief in South Sudan.

His responsibilities as chief will include overseeing the affairs of the Kuek community, resolving disputes, and representing the community in dealings with other groups. He will also be responsible for maintaining peace and harmony within the community.

The community is hopeful that Aruopiny will lead them with wisdom and compassion and that he will continue to uphold the legacy of his father.

Lakes state is blessed with over 100 talented artistes but what is killing their talent are the following:

1: fans: fans don't know their work, all they have to do is listening to their songs on phone claim that they are showing love to their artistes but very wrong. As a serious fan, you must to follow the page of your artiste, subscribe to their YouTube channels and share their work.

And when they are performing you must to show your emotions, sing the song along with that artiste and shout even if you pain just pain, and this thing is not in lakes state fans used to quite as if they left their mouths at home. This love only happen in Aweil.

2: Promoters/Managers: these people don't know their works, promoter is doing the work of a manager and manager is doing the work of promoter until hatred arise l, an evens organiser must go for assessment to check which artiste is dominating that particular region/state and take him/her there to earn money and make promotion to the artiste and that thing is not happening here.
