The Big Three automakers have been earning record profits, and it's time for them to make record contracts with the UAW. Workers deserve fair wages, benefits, and job security.
The UAW strike is about MORE than just money. It's about ensuring that all workers have a fair shot at a good life. Fighting for things like:

‼️Restoring traditional pension plans: This would provide workers with a secure retirement.
‼️Return COLA because it was negotiated out in 2009 during the bailout. Workers deserve to be able to keep up with the cost of living. COLA is a way to make sure that happens.
➡️COLA stands for Cost of Living Adjustment.
‼️Eliminating the tiered wage system: This system allows companies to pay new hires less than seniority workers, even if they do the same job.
‼️A 32-hour work week: This would give workers more time with their families and friends.
➡️ The Jeep Wrangler plant has been running 10 hour shifts, 6 days a week, for FT employees since 2013.
