Teaching Artist Network
Who are we? Teaching artists on a mission to change the world one art lesson at a time.
The City of Lewisville welcomed TAN back this year for their annual event, ColorPalooza! The rain did not damper the fun, and the turnout was wonderful!
This year TAN painted river stones, made pipe cleaner mini sculptures, and offered a free drawing station.
We hope to be invited back next year!
TAN was invited by the City of Lewisville to help host and offer a children's craft before Lisa Loeb's concert.
the crafts offered were coloring sheets from one of Loeb's books, and cardboard guitars the children could decorate with stick-on gems, markers and crayons.
HELLO TAN FRIENDS!!!
We are so happy to be chosen by the student council as the winners of the chalk art competition! The theme was “strong past, bold future”. As always, we are happy to be part of a university that celebrates our diversity, perseverance and determination for success as traditional and non traditional students.
It has been a busy semester! Apologies for not keeping the page up to date. Please stay tuned for more posts.
Thanks, and have a great week!
HELLO TAN FRIENDS!
This year’s Keller Art Walk was a wonderful event and we had so many young artists create with us!
This year we created artist trading cards, and decorated leaves to celebrate our autumn season and upcoming holiday, thanksgiving. We greatly enjoyed our time with everyone who stopped at our table! We hope to be invited back next year.
Stay posted for more photos!
Thanks,
Teaching Artist Network
